  • Kevin Levrone should have won a Mr. Olympia.

  • Fuck why does everyone do this shit sitting...fucking standing is the real test

  • Smith Machine...... :(

  • he probably drinks steroids for breakfast

  • This is his band too!

  • music sux

  • Fucking steroids! Body builders these days are shit.

  • @UCAxxAvatar Cant tell if troll or retard

  • More impressive is the fact that Levrone is ripped with a 29 inch waist, verses most powerlifters who have fat waistlines and far from ripped. Very impressive Kevin!!!!!

  • @phantom5573 Hes not even a powerlifter... A powerlifter wouldnt give a fuck about his waistline... 99% of youtube comments piss me off.

  • @GusMartin2

Point is - take anyone that is obese and they can push a lot of weight.

Credit to the guy that is lean and ripped with strength like Levrone.

    Tool....

  • @phantom5573 So your that guy on a powerlifters video who deadlifts 900lbs and goes...yeah I can deadlift my weight too. Your logic is fucking retarded. They train for different things..First off this is "405" on a smith machine so that isnt real weight by any measures. He wouldn't be able to 405 barbell shoulder press. I know thats off topic. You can call me a tool...but at least I understand what im commenting about unlike 99% of people on youtube including you. I hate dumb people.

  • @phantom5573 Not true, they may be able to squat but they won't have upper body strength like a mug, you still have to work at it.

It is also easy to get ripped while using steroids, I know from personal experience.

  • 4 plates on a smith machine isn't 405. the smith bar weighs about 10 pounds. bogus

  • Yeah, but he was using a smithmachine. Anyone can do that much on a smithmachine lol.

    Love Kevin!

  • I struggle with 235 sets of 8. Great job man

  • shoulder snaps

  • idk if i would trust a spotter that probably weighs half of the dumb bells he can rep.

  • 5:03 , He forgot his glasses.

  • this is why these guys take so long in the gym, the milk it lol but seriously those are some heavy weights jeez

  • I wonder what Arnold could do 5 reps like that with when he was in his best shape. Any suggestions? Probably like 300 lb? But of course Arnie was much taller and even a bit lighter, so he had a MASSIVE disadvantage for strength stuff like this.

  • we came here to see a 1-2 minute video of a set of shoulder press not a 5 minute video of a guy thinking about it first

  • If I calculated right...that's a 500lb bench press! I think the bar is 45lbs and each plate 45lbs too. Damn!!! I'm lucky if my puney ass can bench my own weight. That sorta shit take some serious dedication.

  • @igknotTheGreat Lol, that's more than a bench press. That's a shoulder press. The pectoral involvement is much lower than in the bench press. Most of the work is performed by your shoulders and rhombs with only a little pectoral involvement.

  • thought that pic was blake griffin

  • Why does he use a belt for benching and military press? Seems kinda pointless

  • @Tbergan67 Belts are used to keep the core tight which is important in all lifting. Personally I don't use them but that's their purpose.

  • he could seriously "snap some shit up"

  • the black guy is obviously doing all the work

  • @tinymoqse...Try spotting 405 w/ur hands like that...Thats not baby weight!

  • @H0ttSaUc3 i was just kidding anyway

  • Levrone and Wheeler. Those were the days.

  • Most gym rats can't even squat that shit, he's a beast for real.

  • is he half black

  • @danthaman7777 his Father was Italian, his Mother Black. Both have passed.

  • HE LOVES THE JUICE

  • If that was my dad I would be on honor roll!!!

  • Back when Levrone was a beast.

  • worst music i've ever heard

  • holy crap at 0:38 his shoulder is bigger than his head!!

  • steroid or not ,you still have to work your ass off so they dont go to waste.

  • Wow I'm sorry about the music too. Video was good though, but yeah that sounded like some horrible garage band

  • What beast!

  • whats is the song???

  • The bar on the smith machine counts for 2 pounds not 45 lol. love levrone though

  • 375lbs

  • Greg Plitt does this weight easy, watch his videos

  • @prophetsarereal GREG PLITT LMAOOOOOOO

  • @prophetsarereal

    You're fucking retarded LMAO.

  • @Chunklake im retarded? ok buddy, youre just a spectating, couch slob. hermit

  • @prophetsarereal ya sure bro, whatever you say

  • @prophetsarereal greg plitt may be ripped, but he's also a douche. Bad combination, and he can't lift anything near this weight, even jonnie jackson can't do this and he's called the "strongest bodybuilder"

  • @EpictheEpicest hes not a douche, youre just a hater. you cant take the truth about what he says ur spectator. herb

  • @prophetsarereal he is a douche, every video he makes he basically talks about how great he is and how crappy everyone else is. If he wants to become a preacher he should gtfo of the gym. There is no truth in what he says, he's just spewing bullshit to make people buy his stuff. Of course I am a spectator, I spectate sports games, I spectate TV, everyone is a spectator at some point. So stop with your highschool insults and don't waste your money and time on that weak prick

  • He has a very nice physique, but towards the end after his enormous 200kg bench, it's easy to tell that his right arm is bigger than his left.

  • @mdto3 220kg my mistake

  • KEVIN WE MISS YOU

  • Horrible song!!!

  • Impressive!! That's why he had the best delts in the game!

  • bodybuilding is not healthy, period. But you can look like a fcking GOD

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose its healthy if you do it natural and you watch your cholesterol.

  • How did I know it was going to be on a smith machine...

  • with those huge triceps he had i suppose it wasnt uncommon for him to press unbelievable poundages.....he probably had the best set of arms on any bodybuilder at the time

  • @jblackapple Yes he had freaking strong tri and was extremely strong bodybuilder in general

Look at the 5 plates bench press...this is only few weeks out lol...risking his career right there guy had balls

But you forget about Big Ron

Ronnie was the strongest bodybuilder to have ever lived + he had the biggest arms ever in relation to his height ( biggest conditioned arms without seo )

  • haha when i do one plate on shoulder press its hard for me

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome shoulder strength for a Body builder. Probably one of the strongest shoulders in body building?

But, 8 x 20 kg is not 184, and don't tell me the bar on a smith machine weighs 25 kg...

The range is 15-35 lbs = 7-15 kg. So even if this was a heavier Smith machine, it would only add up to 175 kg = 385 lbs. Still an Awesome display of shoulder power.

  • @JonnyGR100 45lb plates are 20.4kg, and that plus a 45lb bar would be 183.6kg if my calculations are correct. I mean everyone in the world knows how to count 4 plates on a bar. Now if that smith machine bar is 45lb or not, I dont know.

  • its on a smith... still AWESOME!!

  • @floppyspatula how the fuck he's gonna get 180kg behind his neck and start pressing? Think with your fucking dumb heads

  • @feralheartbg He doesn't have to do a behind the neck press. I didn't know what I was going to see coming into this video besides a 405lb shoulder press. Plenty of elite lifters can do that, I just wanted to see who this Levrone fellow was.

  • I put 405 on my back for squats and the weight is sooooo fuckin crushing on my whole body!!!!

It is hard to believe that the human shoulder can handle that weight. Truely amazing feat of strength to press it behind the neck, smith machine or not. UNREAL!!!

  • @ctluba exactly..it FEELS crushing. your mind fucks with you.

  • he didnt win shit hard to c that lol

  • behind the neck is so bad fer ur shoulders exspecially with 405

  • @fitnessbeast4 its only bad if you dont know what ur doing. if you dont warm up well. other than that it is an excellent exercise! same as full squats which many today says is bad for knees ..as long as you dont maxx out on full squats and dont do it very leg work out it is the single greatest xercise for the entire body esp the legs and core ...common sense and knowldge is where its at having said that commonsense aint that common nowa days eh :)

  • wut a pucc. on a smith machine...really..wow

  • Respect Kev, a pro

  • Holy fu*king shieeeet! I would have done 1 negative and died on that.

  • Maybe it's because I honestly don't follow BB all that much as others do, but how come I haven't heard of this guy until now? He's got a pretty sick physique? Also, as gay as this may be of me to say, and I accept it, I was a little disappointed that this was on a smith and not BB. Oh well, carry well folks.

  • @floppyspatula this might be because his active bodybuilding time is already over. after a lot of 2nd and 3rd places he stoped competing. look on the right of this page, there he is under the "levrone report" where he uploads videos of himself and others training with specials systems...

  • @floppyspatula Yeah, you just don't and didn't follow bodybuilding because everyone knows who Kevin Levrone is

  • @floppyspatula Yeah, if you were following the sport in the early to somewhat late 90s, this guy was always a top 5 finsiher at each Mr. O. He was a HUGE face in the world of BB. I can't remember if second or third was his highest placing. He was monster!! ....as you can tell lol Go back and check out some vid on thos Mr O. Kevins tris and delts were out of this world. His side chest was freaky as heck lol.

  • @floppyspatula You've never heard of Kevin Levrone???

  • @floppyspatula

He was at his best in the mid 90s

  • @floppyspatula He also won the Arnold Classic. he was a BEAST! The major injuries caused his early retirement.

Also, 405 is 405!!! THe Smith is used to ensure you hit the same area each rep!

Dont get it twisted cause he chooses to be safe.

    Coach Rob

  • @bigshotbob3364 Though this lifter is obviously a beast, my comment is directed at smith machines in general, not him: they take away the need for much stabilizing activity, therefore making the same weight easier than freehand.

  • 5 minute video for 2 sets? Yikes

  • lmao what the fuck!!

  • he's so small now, its crazy

  • @loupremo hes still bigger than you i guarantee.

  • nuff said

  • Sind das beim Bankdrücken etwa 495 Pfund oder hab ich mich da verguckt?

  • Gotta love Kevin.

  • the black arnold

  • Kevin and of course so many other body builders are on steroids but what I dont understand is where are the stretch marks and the acne?

  • @gatlar28 there is a medicine for everything. for example simple zink against the acne.

but please no roid discussion here... don't want to delete all those comments again because of swears all the way...

  • @gatlar28 steroids does always not equal stretch marks, most get them from puberty and the initial training period. acne is again, easily dealt with. lastly this is an old VHS video that isn't zoomed in, meet a few of these people in real life and off season and the marks and acne is more evident.

  • @BBCNeverLies you dunno what you're talking about. clearly some little nerd.

  • @gatlar28 The stretch marks and acne u speak of arent on him, cause he wasnt on roids! Hate to burst your bubble mate!

  • @AGatheringFan I know, it's so annoying when people think you need steroids to get this big. Just train and have some creatine, you will get thtere much faster with protein shakers. I think the guy in video definitely took protein shakers.

  • @ProcyonAlpha i hope your trollin'...

  • @gatlar28 some people on them simply don't get acne and tolerate the side effects better, whereas other people break out horribly. Its all how the body reacts

  • @gatlar28 The high dosed hgh reduces most of the sides from the anabolic steroids

Also pros mostly are on low test, but high tren. , masteron , equip. , ect

  • Wanted to see him shoulder press 405 with free weight but oh well! still impressive.

  • a tiny head and neck prooves everything

  • not bad. markus ruhl did a 585lb shoulder press. for this guys size, he's not that strong

  • @surfersky Dude, 495 for 3 banch press? So many top level powerlifters can't do that. Keep hatin bro.

  • i wanna see him wrestle john cena

  • @xdropnbodiesx well,,, he has his own youtube channel now, called levronereport... he is back to workin out now after a 3-4 year hiatus??? but yea,, u see how he looks like without roids,, still good

  • Anytime I feel like I am making amazing progress, I can just watch this and prove myself wrong.

    :o(

  • He looks like a muscular elf.

  • I can bench 350 with my dick... no big deal

  • @aqdftregh Thanks bro!

  • This guy truly is the black schwartzenegger, or should i say schwartzenigga lol

  • Must be a bitch for kevin to find shirts to fit him

  • @hoodnjh, his math is correct because he's talking about the shoulder press, not bench. It was a smith machine with 4 plates on each side. So about 375lbs cause it's lighter with smith

  • 405lbs and he's doing it from the back...damn

  • lol the new song is good

  • cool song whats the title?

  • i think thats the first time ive ever seen someone with a "peak" on their tricep

  • @MacMaraScott There's only so much time they body can withstand constant training and gear of this level.

  • My math obviously better than yours considering that he had 5 plates on each side with and additional 2.5 on each side. And I u add in 45 more for the bar, that equals 500lbs. Way to go buddy. Watch the video a little bit closer before u make some smart ass comment, or should say dumb ass comment?

  • Listen. I've the comments, and they're all pretty ridiculous. Kevin Levrone (besides Arnold) is the greatest. I don't give a holy fuck if it is a smith machine! You try it! Not to mention it was BEHIND his head! And do I need to mention the absolute perfect for for the 500lb bench press for 4 reps!?! I didn't think so. Also, need I say 24" arms!?! Exactly.

  • That's not 405 its 375, still very heavy weight for shoulder. Priest and Levrone is all time best to me, uncrowned Mr Olympia

  • @frank09busa lol 45 times 9 is 405 what kind of math you doing lol the bar weighs 45

  • @pavy415

I don't know if you workout or not but smith machine bar weighs 15 pounds, regular barbell weighs 45lbs, so 45x8+15=375.

  • @pavy415 bar weight way less on smith machine

  • I can't even fucking bench half that lmao

  • smith machine.... at age 54 I do 275 for 2 reps (all way down to upper chest) at a weight of 237. use the real weights and you will impress ...I use only 185x6 with real weighst

  • guy is using 20 pounds more than Derek Poundstone 2nd place Worlds Strongest Man does for 1 rep andf he does for more reps and weighs a lot less.. Alloy plates at least some of them.

  • @Weh1921 he's on a smith machine so the bar is 15lbs not 45 therefore it's 375 not 405. Plus smith machine is easier than free weights cuz you don't have to stabilize it

  • uncrowned mr. o

  • He looks like a monkey

  • @MacMaraScott wanted to pursue a career in acting. didn't work out for him.

  • damn what a huge difference between him with steroids and without, what was his weight here around 245-250?

  • He looks like a monkey

  • how much is the riod bill?

  • I loved the video but, the music was not that great.

  • Ive never seen this guy b4 why the fuk isnt he competeing

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx he did... years ago

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx he had the bestshoulders in the bus. years back. hes now still healthy but non competing, channel is levronereport

  • @bicmyflic25 It's Levrone2000 actually.

  • @SuperAustrianOak im so good at being wrong its like a fucking art

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx What makes you think he didn't compete? He was on the Mr. Olympia stage many times

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx Kevin Levrone went off to pursue an acting career which requiered him to lose weight. I became frustrated myself watching him NOT win. Bodybuilding in the 90's had way tougher competitors than today. Levrone at his best could beat Jay Cutler or Phil Heath at their best shape-no doubt.

  • @jose8a2007 I totally agree.

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx ?? WTF?? where have you been living under a rock?!?! This is Kevin Levrone... competed several times in Mr. Olympia and winner of the Arnold Classic during the 90's. We is one of the pillars of modern bodybuilding. If you don't know who Kevin Levrone is you probably don't know much about bodybuilding. Flex Wheeler... Dorian Yates... Lee Labrada..

  • @jose8a2007 lol sorry about the energy of my answer.. didnt want to come too forward.. just had my coffee... lol ;)

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx Arnold Classic winner twice, Mr. Olympia top five - 11 times! Finished 2nd in the Olympia 4 times! The only person that stopped him from winning the Olympia multiple time was Dorian Yates because Weider was infatuated with huge, bulky, mass monsters and not quality size, symmetry, and conditioning. Not to take anything away from Yates, but Levrone's awesome physique seemed more appealing.

  • @xDrOpNBoDiESx You have never seen Kevin?

  • You never shoulder press weights while sitting in real life . Standing shoulder press without cheating and kipping is the right one.

Still I believe this guy looks more an athlete - not just a freak bodybuilder.

  • cool song

  • @mjavorski49 no kidding, theyre bloody gigantic

  • You know that olympia judging is pure bullshit when in 2002 a pregnant woman wins while this guy is on stage...

  • homeboy needs to work on his triceps.

  • @gregorymwishart U MAD?

  • Hey Kevin i did not know u do Max ot

  • His Triceps are fucking mahoosive!

  • smith machine, still mad respect for the legend Kevin Levrone
