I totally agree. I saw the commercials for it and thought it looked dumb. Then this summer, I saw it once just by chance and now I LOVE it!! I Tivo all the shows I can, and if season 1 comes out on dvd, I'm getting it. So I agree, if people actually knew what its about or they advertise better, it'd be a big hit!

First of all that's not a Hindu greeting, it was a Buddhist greeting which was adopted by Hindus, and second the Mughuls (who were Muslims that ruled India) did something similar when they greeted each other by saying "Adab".
