  • you sir, have changed my life.

  • nie umiesz kurwa po polsku?

    Jesteśmy w Polsce

  • Man You Helped Me A Lot

  • 3 people thought : But will it BLEND ?

  • How do I wrap texture by selecting an object then select an image and that's it the object now has a texture (even without UV wrapping)?

  • can I alter (model) the mesh in the 3d window from the 2d (uv image) window...

I really enjoy your tuts...very clear and precise...

  • by 4:57 if the problem is that the image itself isn't a square, you can look for the size of the image (eg if you have it from google pics you can look there) and if it is for example 1024x768 you can just scale the plane x: 1.024 and y: 0.768. just a little tip.

  • for me the texture appears in the 3d view, but does not render when I hit F12, need help please.

  • @qeebo did you remember to select "texface" in the "material" window of the plane?

  • hey i've got a question: what file formats can I use? .xcf doesn't seem to work.

  • how to add image in 2.5?

  • hey thanks for the vid it was great, how would i add a transparent texture or image to a plane, I want to create a view of a blind persons perspective and adding that to the front of the camera.

  • Thanks. I wished i saw this video when you first released it, but i was working on my video. Are you able to do different images for different faces

  • Absolutely! Go into Face Select mode. In the 3D view, select a face (or faces). In the UV Image Editor, from the Image menu, select Open. Open your image. Back in the 3D view, select another face. Open another image in UV Face Select. You can have a separate image for each face. If the faces overlap, the last image you chose will be mapped to that face.

  • Is there a way to make a video play on a plane?

  • Why should making a video play on a plane be any different from making a video play anywhere else?

  • If you pause the video, at the right is the time where you paused. You can drag the slider to the left or the right. After you do that, play it.

  • i mean like, i want to make an earth, but on the earth is some of my old videos playing. I want to have a block or something play a video i've created before.

  • @Jeffreylb94 Yes, you can. You go into the properties for the image(In the UV window), and select "Movie" instead of "Still". Then you click the '<' key to the right of the Frames.

    There you go!

  • You can do even more, since an image is just a texture. You can map up to 10 textures per face as well. Think of the possibilities.

  • Thanks! I fixed it. I now have to go back to the 43 other videos I uploaded and check this problem out :-)

  • In the info area that "." at the end of your URL is make the link not work.
