By the time you get to the top 3 noone deserves to lose. I think they went with who had the most popularity and was immediately ready to be produced. There"s no way to objectively choose between the top three, all three had great voices though vastly different styles. Anyone know if her album's come out yet?

I agree with both opinions. I agree that she was trashed by the judges pretty much every week (except for top 6, but who could top that?), but I also think that the only reason they did that was to try to get her to do better, which they believed she could, and sure enough they were right, and every week she got stronger and stronger. Also, I agree with the smile comment that she smiles because she makes it look effortless, and she LOVES it! What more can you do? Underrated, didn't deserve 3rd.

I agree. I said in another post, the judges had it out for her. I think they wanted who they wanted to win, so they would almost dog her in every performance to sway the voters. Very under rated!

Syesha is the most beautiful girl ever to appear as an American Idol contestant and the best singer. By the way, the 3 guys were gay, both the girls were super hot. Paula is mixed up but still pretty hot so I don't care (also everyone knew what she meant by the second song regardless of who sang it). Simon is a dick regardless of what he says.

I totally agree on your first comment, she might have gotten more attention and credit as a singer if she didn't smiiiiiilllllleee through each and every song, making it look as if what she was doing was really easy. But that's proves her as a singer, she doesn't have to scrunch her face to belt all those high notes lol.

Well, to give SOME credit to Paula, Ryan adamantly stated at the start of the show that they were doing things differently and that the judges will not comment until AFTER both songs were sung!!!

Now, obviously she was not paying attention to WHERE the timeline was and when Ryan asked for comments, she thought it was at the end. Not entirely her fault, but she must have 'zoned' out herself!!!!
