  • Is that Pat Sajak?

  • Could Betty White be any cuter?

  • Cakelette sounds delicious! That would be a great product name.

  • All Betty did was try the "old age and treachery" bit. But I agree with everyone here, that was hilarious.

  • I was typing "Cakelet" into my Google bar and I got 7 suggestions, including "cakelet pan", "cakelet recipes" or "cakelette recipes", and "dufflet cakelet." Maybe it's a new term.

Haha! "WHY DIDN'T I SAY OREO?!" Way too hilarious! BTW, Pat Sajak probably just became WOF host here.

  • Betty White and Liz Montgomery were my two favorite stars on this show.

  • Walter Cronkite had retired from CBS News in 1981, so my best guess would be this was a 1981 episode, at least.

  • cakelett.... the NEW word for cookie!!

  • Betty White was always one of the greatest celebrity players of this particular game show. A game show, by the way, that her husband originally hosted.

    Coincidence, or conspiracy??????????.................YOU decide !!!!! ;-)

  • lol...not only was this funny, but you couldnt even guess betty white was 40-50ish years old lol

  • @luckyc120 Betty was born in 1922. PW Plus ran from 79 to 82. So she would have been anywhere from 57 to 60 at the time.

  • @shoredude2 wow really!!!!! Thats crazy, you cant even tell!!! lol.

  • what kind of word is cakelette? haha

  • OH I LOVE BETTY!!!!! She is sooo sweet! And such a beauty!

  • After 5 months, only one comment! YAY

  • Man, Pat looks exactly the same!

  • Sounds the same, too!

  • no, he really doesnt

  • @tvpirate05 after a year!

  • Betty: OH WHY DIDN'T SAY OREO?!?!?!?!?!

LOL, I love Betty White so much, she rocks.

  • she said two words

  • The answer to that puzzle was Gingerbread man.

  • No kidding.

  • What does that have to do with my comment?

  • It was an answer to the comment you replied to. "Woolery left Wheel" is slang for "no kidding," basically. When someone says something obvious.

  • @JMFabianoRPL after a year!

  • Wait, you can't beep Betty for correcting herself by saying the word Cake.

  • Even so, I think they have to take your first response.

  • How nice to see Tom Kennedy again. I wonder if this was after Betty White's husband Alan Ludden passed away or was Tom filling in for him. I saw that Password is coming back to television with Regis Philbin in 2008.

  • I think this was just before Pat began hosting Wheel of Fortune for NBC daytime. At the time, he was a weatherman.

  • could have been 1982.

  • Sajak was one of the few names from my alma mater that they listed as famous. Kinda weird considering it was an art college. Weatherman to game show host, go figure.

  • cakelet ahahahah

  • zsst...zsst...zsst!!!

  • I think that both Kennedy and the judges are both aggresive on her. POOR POOR BETTY!

  • "OH WHY DIDN'T I SAY OREO??!!!" Thats feakin' hilarious!

  • That didn't sound like her, but it's feakin' hilarious, like you said.

  • I think Betty White is the absolute queen of game shows, specially on Password... Thanks for this!
