ok thi svideo is not what i thought it was supposed to be about...i thought it had something to do with the astoria column and a guy named Dell Schanze...hmmmm....was i wrong?
Hey Dell, just watched this. The couple of times you blipped the prop I am assuming was hitting the wake. The Morpheus seems to show that much better than the Eris which knifes right through it. Is that right?
Hi, I am a Tandem Administrator so I would be the guy to talk to in order to get your tandem rating. Any good tandem glider would work but I would recommend a different motor. Yours has enough power but the high hang points makes it difficult and dangerous for tandem flight. Another guy on a black hawk just died because of that. For tandem flight you do need FAA certified aircraft and right now the Flat Top is the only legit tandem motor unit. Give me a call and I'll be happy to help.
Thousands and thousands lol. I'm glad you like the videos, I love showing people how cool this is when you get the right gear and training. Sooo dang fun man, seriously wild. I've flown all sorts of aircraft but nothing compares to your own personal backpack aircraft you can take with you anywhere. It is just seriously slick.
The best equipment on the market is about $11,000 and then you just have to go through the training. It is sooo dang fun!!! You gotta try it. Just give me a call and I'll tell ya the best way to do it. Dell 800-707-2525
Yes totally. I just set the world US distance record at 280 miles on 3.5 gallons of gas. I could easily take off and land in just about any parking lot as you see here in a snow covered parking lot. It gets better gas mileage than a car and would be about as fast considering you can fly straight line with no traffic. Vote for me for governor and you will be able to fly to work:).
Hi, the wing in the video is the 24sm Morpheus Acro glider from U-Turn. It is seriously sweet. The motor is the Flat Top from U-Turn USA. I have thousands and thousands of hours. Call me if you have any questions or need some help getting pointed in the right direction to get started. 801-631-1731. Dell
I live in Russia and speak russian too :) my english isnt good. I am not ready for doing what you do but now I am gonna to buy a new wing. I am waiting for news about new wing Fusion of Paramania. Also I have uper solid J bars on my paramotor(like on FreshBreeze but fixed). Could you do the same things with no ability to control your glider with the weight?
I would stay away from paramania. Those gliders are not safe. No it would be very difficult to fly like I fly with the old j-bar type system. All the top pilots in the US that I know fly the Flat Top and nothing else.
Why do you think that those gliders are not safe? yeah. they have not good behave when collapse, but the pressue is really high and collapse dont happen.
NO collapses do happen on those gliders and people die and get seriously injured. Don't even dare say on my channel those things don't collapse. More people have died recently on paramania than all other brands combined and paramania is a tiny brand. Yet another guy here in the US just broke his back when his paramania collapsed and didn't recover all the way to the ground. He went about telling lies about how they don't collapse too. He'd just been calling me a liar for saying they do oops
Shit.... I didnt think it so serious..I saw some bad videous and read some articles but a lot of people say thtat paramania are good wings(especial Europians).what wing had he?
give link please to read or watch more true about these gliders...
Nobody with flying experience says they are good wings. No it isn't all reflex. Some are actually certified. It is the uncertified ones I would avoid completely. Check out the yahoo group called ppgtruth.
Yes but no, if you are in conditions that would collapse your wing you already made a huge mistake and if you made that mistake with any other aircraft you would be far more likely to die because of it. Paramotoring is super safe as long as you get the right equipment and training. Stay away from anything USPPA that's for dang sure. Call me if you need any help at all. 801-631-1731. Dell
Dell, you really do make some of the best videos, but jeez man - you cut it so freakin close sometimes! Please don't die for a little wow on our part...
lol, what was close? I am actually quite cautious. I'm really not risking more than a minor fall in the snow. Notice where I bumped and immediately flared my speed was very very low. I might have fallen down but in deep snow that really isn't very threatening. Looks wild, but when you have the skills it really isn't as dangerous as it looks. Thanks for your concern though, I'll continue to keep it as safe as possible.
Don't forget about that thing on your back that screams and rotates those knives. The fall in the snow may not hurt, but that thing on your back might want to chop off a leg or arm. Your feet are close to the prop when you are dragging them in the snow. One bump is all it would take.
lol, it is a Flat Top lol. Not a black hawk or Fresh Breeze. Yes people chop their body parts off all the time with the old outdated stuff. NOT with a Flat Top. Fear not, I don't fly antiques lol.
A new Flat Top motor WON'T cut off body parts like an antique one? That's not a very believable selling point. I'll wait for the video before I'll believe that one :o) BTW - Thanks for the video. Great flying! Keep 'em coming.
Just check out U-Turn USA, you can see people standing on the kevlar netting without flexing into the prop. There is also a video posted where I fly through 7 ft weeds 1 ft off the ground. The Flat Top is one seriously tuff PPG. It is by far the safest unit on the market.
I really want to get into powered paragliding. I currently fly a PPC. I find it extremly boring now. Is there an increase of a wing collapse with an eliptical vs square? What is the speed of of your chute? Do they train tandem with these?
Thanks for the videos they have all been great/amazing. 5 stars.
Yes paragliders require more training and attention. The performance is worth it though. I can top 40mph and plan to set the record at 56mph on a paraglider. Yes you can fly tandem. Give me a call anytime at 801-631-1731 and I'll be happy to tell you all about it and get you pointed in the right direction.
I just flew away safely or there wouldn't have been a 2:16 lol. I included the whoopsie where I bonked the ground a little too hard after going through my wake. No big deal if you have the skills to deal with it:)

imasuper0308, How do I get certified to do tandem flights? I have a 28hp Gold 130 paramotor. What wing would I need to carry a passenger?
