The rapture IS in the Bible...The Latin Bible. The Greek word for "caught up" in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is ἁρπαγησόμεθα or harpazō. The same verb translated into Latin is rapiemur which comes to us in English as rapture.

@davymatheny Hi, Rev 3:10 says he will “keep” us from the hour of temptation. To keep is to preserve. Just as he preserved Noah and his family. They did not go anywhere. You can escape something without being removed from a situation. One can escape prison and still go through the trial. Jesus prayed that he would not have to die, and even asked the disciples to watch with him, but he did die and he knew that he would. It was purposed to happen. We are to watch and pray. @davymatheny I don't know about living in the wild. Basically, I know Christ is coming for his people, but not one place in the bible does it say it will be before the tribulation. I believe it will be after, because the bible says so. Christ warned us about false teachers and to believe in a pre-trib rapture we have to add so many things to the word of God, which we have been warned about doing. I think the biggest mistake people make is they confuse the tribulation with the wrath of God.

When people use the term "the rapture" they refer to Christ coming for his people before the tribulation. The bible does not state that he will return before the tribulation. It says the opposite. Even more important than the trumpet may be the resurrection. There isn't another resurrection..there can only be one and if it were at the beginning of the trib then how/when would those 'left behind' be saved or resurrected? Pre-trib just never made sense to me even when I was very, very young

I agree with you (a plain reading of Matthew 24 sealed the deal for me), but I am not convinced that pre-trib rapture teaching always comes from wolves. I know a number of very faithful pastors and lay Christians who believe in a pre-trib rapture, but do not put there hope in it. They put there hope in Christ. Yes some teachers go way overboard in emphasizing the importance of this doctrine, and in doing so lose the gospel all together, but many do not.
@littlemas2, yes I agree that not all who believe in the rapture are wolves. I think wolves put the doctrine out there and there are some agents of Satan who know it is wrong and teach it for that reason. The problem is so many well meaning, God fearing Christian teachers and laymen believe it and then teach it. They believe it because they were taught it. That upsets me so much. U need a little more understanding. The Lord Himself is coming to get us, at the end he send his angels to gather those that are left and haven't taken the mark of the beast. 1 Thess. The Lord comes with THE TRUMP OF GOD, HIMSELF. He's not sending anybody to get us. Because WE are his BRIDE. Matthew 24:31, He shall send his angels with A Great Sound of A A TRUMPET to gather his elect. ( Those who don't take the mark). Study the different.

When people use the term "the rapture" they refer to Christ coming for his people before the tribulation. The bible does not state that he will return before the tribulation. It says the opposite. I know he's coming, but after the tribulation. So if the people/teachers/preachers/theologians and whoever else says one thing, and the bible says another, I'm going with the bible. Christ warned us they (the false teachers) would come. How do you discern who is who?

if the rapture is false, then explaine why in the book of jude chapter 1 vers 14-15 says
" behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to excute judgment upon all, you can read the rest: when and how did those saints get to heaven?
answer is they were raptured out ! read revelation chapter 5 vers 8-10 !

okay so i totally agree with this video the so called rapture is false doctrine... if ppl would take the time to read the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse they wouldnt be so confused, no where in the Bible is the rapture mentioned, if this so called rapture was so important i think the actual word 'rapture' would be in there somewhere.. the Bible clearly states AFTER TRIBULATION...

@thetruthimpart Aaaactually it's not suited that well for life now, but it used to be because there are traces in the crust that rivers used to be running. Also there were amino acids on an asteroid once, meaning that life could be prevalent in space or on planets, just not developed to become intelligent.

Even when God made the ten commandments, in the new testament when Jesus was riding through Jerusalem(palm sunday):before that he told his disciples to steal a donkey and that if the owner asked who it was for they were to say "The Lord needs it." But then if he could tell the future he would know that they wouldn't need to say that making that meaningless. Maybe he just wanted to have fun.

In fact, people made a "whistle language" in europe a century ago, because it was easier to hear, and klingon is a popular language. Even when most people are speaking whatever language they are because of internationalism, I think that more languages will be created, from people who live on the moon to people who live on an island. Also it is a "pride" part that people like their own language.

Even more important than the trumpet may be the resurrection. There isn't another resurrection..there can only be one and if it were at the beginning of the trib then how/when would those 'left behind' be saved or resurrected? Pre-trib just never made sense to me even when I was very, very young

I agree with you (a plain reading of Matthew 24 sealed the deal for me), but I am not convinced that pre-trib rapture teaching always comes from wolves. I know a number of very faithful pastors and lay Christians who believe in a pre-trib rapture, but do not put there hope in it. They put there hope in Christ. Yes some teachers go way overboard in emphasizing the importance of this doctrine, and in doing so lose the gospel all together, but many do not.

@littlemas2, yes I agree that not all who believe in the rapture are wolves. I think wolves put the doctrine out there and there are some agents of Satan who know it is wrong and teach it for that reason. The problem is so many well meaning, God fearing Christian teachers and laymen believe it and then teach it. They believe it because they were taught it. That upsets me so much. Maybe in another video I'll clarify what I mean by the wolves. Thanks for the comment.
