  • I don't get this channel, lol. We have the 'I'm a Mormon', the "I'm an ex-Mormon"....i iz confuzed

  • Danzig? Like Danzig from The Misfits?

  • @Chimichanga12594 this is glen danzig in the daylight.

  • Peter, you are going to roast in hell for eternity......

    ......Not really. Just kidding.

Had you worried for minute, didn't I?

  • Yet another faithless lazy do it yourselfer

  • but you still believe in invisable magic man right?

  • I want to thank all the anti-Mormon testimony's being born on this site. It is because of all this that I investigated The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) and felt the peaceful and loving influence of the Holy Ghost testify to me of the truthfulness of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, consistent with what the Savior himself taught His Apostles when He was on the earth. I am so fortunate to have received this witness from the Holy Ghost and not some evil website.

  • @vitca1 I am happy for you that you have found peace and happiness. I hope you will continue to find more as you learn and grow throughout your life. Thank you for leaving a comment!

  • @vitca1 The Bible (which you claim to belive in) says to not believe every spirit, but test every one of them because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

  • @vitca1 Very snarky, cheeky, and sarcastic. People leave because they have studied more deeply and more intensly than they had ever palnned on and found truth.

  • @vitca1 Listen to his words in the video......he studied and learned. Study the doctrine of mormonism from it's founder Joseph Smith...as well as it's history and its doctrine from the mouth of Brigham Young who married other men's wives and fathered children with them while they were still married to other men. That's adultery and it is preached agianst in D&C 132:61 for those who are not limiting themselves to being afraid to learn.

  • @vitca1 I So the Holy Ghost took the time to testify to you of the truthfulness of the restored gospel but you didn't take the time to learn how to spell the official name of the Church? If you're overlooking important details like this, perhaps you're overlooking many other things too.

    I'm Justa: Pro-truth Latter-day Saint.

  • It's a shame that there is so much corruption in the Mormon faith. They do have some great values as far as family and community are concerned. Like this man's tale, there's just too much fact hiding. The Mormon elders go to extreme lengths to hide information for the sake of preserving the archaic laws of Mormonism. But, like all other Christian based religions, they are supposed to obey the law of the land as well as the law of their church. It's time for a revamp of ALL religions, I say.

  • Hello peter i was just wondering if u r in any religion at all now. also i am episcopal and have learned a lot about religion. i really agree with your view that people should not b pushed into a certain religion and i am for gay rights. have u ever learned of the episcopal church? i go to one and this religion is very open with gays. they can even become priests. they can b married or women too. i encourage u to look it up if u would like

  • Stop judging :/ he didn't agree with the teachings so he spoke out. Don't automatically assume he is gay or a bad person.

And don't call religion crazy or damaging, or a bad thing. Religion is their sense of hope and stability and under mining that is just cruel.

  • These inspire me.

  • Good job! Thumbs up to you bro. Take control of your life. Don't let a religion do it for you:)

  • Do you know Nelia Hopkins.....she played in that temple square thing too. she is my ex mother in law.

  • @MikePattonFan24

looks like over 700 people (including you) care enough about "this guy" to comment. The mormon church will eventually handle homosexuality the same way they did with their despicable racism. when the pressure is strong enough, God will give them yet another "grand revelation" enabling rights for homosexuals in the church.

  • Does anyone really care what this guy thinks???

  • Comment removed

  • @MikePattonFan24 judging by the views and the ratings, a few people do. I have a feeling you do too. otherwise you would not have left a comment

  • @MikePattonFan24 you really are shallow

  • In other words, i'm an ex moron

  • Mormonism is the definition of ridiculous... Truly a useless religion of nonsense based on nothingness. And the sad part is at the very heart of it, it's all based on secrecy and deception. Why are they so secretive? This is NOT the Gospel.

  • @aremar88 Not the Gospel? It sounds like self serving BS to me.

  • Great video Peter!

  • you leave the church, and they immediately condemn you and dont want to have anything with you....judgmental? accepting? christlike? --think about it

  • COOL STORY BRO

  • so you left the church because of its teachings on homosexuality? Mr Danzig I truly feel sorry for you.

  • Check out Homosexual Warning on youtube.

  • Wonderful, now go your way Ex-mormon and Homosexual.

  • Homosexuality and Sodomy are a dead-end road with a cliff at its end. I am opposed to Mormonism as well; and I recognize these videos for what they are: philo-sodomitic propaganda concelealed in anti-Christian propaganda with the implication that Mormons embody all of the negative aspects of conservative, Biblical Christianity.

  • The mormons are crazy. I wouldn't have a problem with them as a cult, if they didn't try to co-opt Christianity, and try to twist it via JoeBob Smith. When they come to your door they won't tell you about the 'garmies' or the planet Kolob.

And apparently, nobody understands the bible unless JoeBob Smith translates it...

  • if you quit ,you are an enemy to god, and personaly I don't want god to destroy earth just because of them ?

  • Mormonism makes me sick..it uses my Saviors name for this pagan religion.

  • "Hi, my name is Peter Danzig and I'm an Ex Moron."

  • HELL YEAH, DANZIG!!!!!!!!!!

  • you look like Eric Clapton :-)

"Hi, my name is Eric Clapton and I'm an Ex Mormon."

thumbs up for Eric! LOL! X-D

  • @tobymays To all the people reading tobymays post, who might be bleeding to death with Open Flesh wounds or Cancer, please visit your local doctor,, and then afterwards,, come on down to the chapel for some Holy Spirit.

  • Any one who still believes in these religious fairy-tales deserve what ever they get ,especially Mormons , i mean how stupid did you have to be to believe a liar and a conman like Joseph Smith, Jr.

And even after all the scandals this so called church had, people still believe ,what a bunch of ass holes.

The most accurate depiction of Mormonism was done by south park, if you religious jack asses would take the time to do some research it would change your life for the better.

  • @adlerbr12 a) did you watch the ending of the South Park mormon episode? I believe the resolution was that the religion was doing a lot of good things for the new family, b) why r u blasting people who were probably born into mormonism and it is all they know. They are 'victims' in a sense. Have more compassion. I am an atheist btw.

  • If any man today claimed to have seen an angel all night in his bedroom, how far would his influence get him? Joseph Smith got his followers because the Internet didn't exist. Today the attrition rate of new members is 64% each year (2010). This is because exmormon.org is so effective in exposing the fraudulent work of Mormons and their perfect church. It is a site of ex-members. Former Bishops, Mission Presidents and Temple Workers. Go, read why they left.

  • Peter, you are a true champion. Not only with your music, your spirit and compassion, you are a champion human being. Thank you, for you!

  • Mark 10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s

  • A man with courage and character in a community of conformity.

Well said. The Mormon Church is wrong about gays.

  • Danzig rock on! related to glenn danzig? but still rock on forget the hate mongerors

  • @prettytomirror what?

  • Everybody wants to attack "the mormons" for the whole prop 8 thing. What they fail to say is that it isn't just lds... what about the American Family Association and countless faith and family groups? (Check out "Exodus International" & "Love one Out")

The fact is anyone who is a Christian (of ANY denomination) understands what God's word says about that issue. The Bible is very clear. You want to scream at churches?? Take it up with God, my friend. HE said it. ...

  • @TheOriginalAnalogKid He did? Can you prove that, because all evidence points to a bible written by man. And not just any kind of men, but men who thought stoning disobedient daughters was justifiable, owned slaves (including their wives)... so.. prove it!

  • @windigo77 Clearly u r ignorant of spiritual matters. Slaves in the Bible were more like servants; they were nothing like the slaves America dehumanized. Speaking of evidence, even evidence is subject to interpretation. They had evidence to convict O.J. Simpson and Casey Anthony of murder, but it never happened because interpretations of evidence differ. & yes, the Bible was written by men - inspired men, that is. But bring up your evidence, & I will prove to u that they r not evidence at all.

  • @SamoanT1000 They were? Prove it. All evidence points to slaves in the bible being property of their owners, and considering the slave owners had the right to rape and circumcise them (as it is written), you are wrong again. - This is a waste of time.

  • @windigo77 Like I said, the slaves the Hebrews had were more like servants; they were well cared for. They were nothing like the slaves America dehumanized. There are no evidence to prove your point; you just say that because you and the so-called experts just want to interpret the evidence in a way to support your views. In fact, scientists and archaeologists are known to hide or ignore evidence the do not support their views. Trust me, I'm a student of science with two degrees.

  • @SamoanT1000 I don't trust you, because you show a sincere lack of critical thinking ability. I ALREADY provided you with an argument that they were NOT treated like servants (what servant would be forced to undergo circumcision at the hands of their master). You failed to address that argument, and I will not continue this discussion until you do.

  • @windigo77 First of all, if you are going to lie, make sure you know how to do it. So, don't tell me you provided evidence to support your views , because you didn't. You are too scared to bring up your so called evidence because you know I'll rip your argument apart, just like I did to the arguments of every atheist and anti-Mormon I came across out there. Trust me, they thought they were experts, but I made them realize that they were just dreaming.

  • @SamoanT1000 I didn't tell you to provide evidence to support my views. I asked for evidence to support yours... wtf is wrong with you, did you not learn to read? You are such an awesome debater eh? So please provide evidence to YOUR assertion that slavery in the bible was like servitude, because evidence does not support your assertion.

    KTHNX

  • @windigo77 "You are such an awesome debater eh?"

I don't debate; I'm just very good at making people realize they don't have an argument at all. Besides, I already mentioned that the Hebrews had rules regarding servants. Such rules required the release of servants after serving a number of years and were sent away with gifts. If they wanted to remain in servitude for life, that was their call. You can find these rules in the bible.

  • @SamoanT1000 You find in the bible, that the servants of the Israelites were inherited, bought, sold, like cattle. And that is the very definiton of slavery.

  • @ndzoko "And that is the very definition of slavery."

It's nice to see that you can have an opinion of your own.

  • @SamoanT1000 It`s amazing to see that you are unable to prove me wrong.

  • @ndzoko Nice story.

  • @SamoanT1000 .Christianity in a nutshell:God decides to redeem mankind, to save them from HIS eternal damnation. To do so, he will send his son to be sacrifice to HIMSELF,in atonement for the sins committed against HIMSELF. He chooses a people to help him do it. He makes sure that they know of his plan by sending prophets, But if they know he is the Messiah, they will not kill him, and spoil his plan. So he makes the prophecies murky. His scheme works. What a divine script.Praise be to god.

  • @ndzoko Your failure to comprehend spiritual matters is largely a result of ignorance. That said, it would be prudent of you to remain silent.

  • @SamoanT1000 Your failure to disprove my point is largely a matter of brainwashing, and education. That said, it would be wise of you to remain silent.

  • @ndzoko If you dissaprove of Mormons because of many things that are nonsense, there are plenty of examples of this in the Christian church. This video says mormons had many things wrong however christians do to. Many ideas were also shown wrong by science

  • @DIVERGING All religion is basically nonsense. Science is truth untill proven wrong. All attempts to prove it wrong ,are welcome.

  • @ndzoko yes i do not believe in religion

  • @ndzoko science is spirit-less therefore human-less therefore meaningless

  • not realy i bealive in god and science i like all people who are good and hope who are bad turn good and defend the weak im not even a christian but i love jesus and i have a theory that maybe jesus was a genius when i was with my muslim freind he told me this cool thing that jesus said to his people aboute whey which shows jesus was scientific him self but when i was with my christian friend he only told me jesus was crucified for our sins and he gave money to the poor so i bileave i love jesus

  • @venomas100 So, you believe in god and science? (science isn't really something you believe in, it's just fact.. i guess you could have "hope" for science) (Oh and the 2 contradict each other), but you're not a christian oh and you love jesus...uhhh. So, because your muslim friend told you something, it MUST mean it was true.. There is a lot of speculation over whether Jesus even existed, but even if he did, the stories are 99% not true.. no one can disprove the unproven unfortunately.

  • @venomas100 Jesus was scientific? uhhh...because they're brainwashed into it more or less. How about you learn about science, study evolution, study the facts. no. You're too gullible, and you're religious friends aren't liable sources mostly

  • @SamoanT1000 correction *servitude* should have been *being a servant*. My argument stands - the evidence I see is that the bible condones a lot of abuse to slaves, such as how much you can beat them, demands that you mutilate them. Your knowledge of scripture is appalling... yet you hold such undeserved self esteem... Might wanna work on that...

  • Are you related to GLEN Danzig?

    You're both into music...

that would be awesome. -just sayin....

  • Wel HOT DAMN Mr. Danzig I applaud you for your dedication! Real men stand up for what they believe in! And you sir are a real man. This church in all honesty does not give a damn about it's members. I just wish so many people would come to their senses and look behind the veil of lies.

  • Well put! Beautiful to see you stand true to your convictions.

  • Hi, Peter, I know your parents. In fact, I knew them before they were married. I'm an ex-mormon, too, which is why I haven't seen them for years. Members of the church are not very receptive to old friends who leave. I admire you and am very happy that you have found your way. Much love, Happy Now

  • Peter & Mary: I've watched several of these videos. None moved me more deeply than yours. I, too, am a former Mormon. I was horrified by the wickedness of what the LDS church did regarding Prop 8. I will likely never meet you but I applaude you both, and I will be happy to share your story with others. You likely already know this, but leaving the Mormon faith and culture behind is very hard, but once you have seen the light of truth, there is no way EVER of returning to the LDS church.

  • Mormonism is one of the most recent exemples how religions start. Take some ideas from existing religions.( it is difficult to come up with a brand new world vision) Add a few of your own ideosyncracies. Find simpletons willing to spread your nonsense, and voila. There you have it, a new religion.

  • @ndzoko You're 100% right.

  • @ndzoko So true. It's hard to do that today in the era of mass communication. In Joseph Smith's day, there were many like him running around claiming exclusive truths that were unavailable in regular churches. His story lives largely due to the fact he was a "martyr" and his followers were able to flourish without outside influence out in Utah.

  • @ndzoko There is not one singular method one can identify which leads to a religious belief.

  • @2wives1prophet

frankly, you were the one who came to me. I didnt come to you. So you should of addressed specifically what you were talking about. I assumed that you knew since I had just replyed to a previous commentator that I was speaking to him. (if you scroll back you can actually see what I mean.) anyways, Im out brother!

  • @2wives1prophet

IM not talking about the guy in the video!!! LOL the whole time i was speaking about a past comment somebody made lol

If you were paying attention then you would have noticed that i was replying to a commentator. I bet you watched this video like ten times to see if he said what you thought I meant .

  • @jaromsmiss

look man, lets just end this conversation. you obviously thought wrong. Its a miscommunication. I hope that you have a happy holidays, I dont mean to come across as disrespecful brother.

  • @2wives1prophet

haha threatened, why are you speaking for me? I could care less if all the churchs and religons went away, I would still have my beliefs. you act like my beliefs are based on others beliefs.

I again, for the third time, was simply calling out someone who was saying something that I felt was false.

  • @2wives1prophet

your obviously not reading the same statment that I am speaking of. HE did in fact say he was Forced to pay to the church. tithing is a biblical doctrine anyways so if you thing its blackmailed then your going aginst gods word.

YOU in fact judged me by saying that I was prideful and angry. yes you judged me, and you were wrong. LOL

  • @2wives1prophet

people who oppose the church, are indeed, anti mormons. anti means against. not that hard to understand. I feel sorry for those who feel sad and abandoned. If some mormons did that then they are wrong. Just because some were mean to these people doesnt mean all are like that. And yes, bashing is done all over pro-mormon videos. that is so obvious just pick one SMH

  • @2wives1prophet

how am I acting mad? can you see me or something? smh

just because I speak with boldness doesnt mean that im mad, or prideful.

This man said that he was Forced to pay tith. That is totally false. nobody is forced to do anything in the church. Nobody gets upset with you for using the bible over the BOM. in fact, they teach out of both books at church. I usually pull out my Bom and my bible for lessons.

  • @2wives1prophet How was my comment prideful? Its prideful to call someone out when there totally lying? thats called honesty and integrity on my part.

  • @2wives1prophet LOL me mad smh

I am def not mad, I do think its funny that people try so hard to hurt the reputation of something.

and yes, anti-mormons are all over , I mean , ALL OVER mormon videos speaking lies about the church. I come to this video to see what people who are bitter have to say about the church. I come here out of curiosity. smh

  • @Robyshileileh To anyone who might be struggling with personal issues in life: I hope you feel free to visit a trained professional counselor.

As Robysheileh helpfully points out, when you are at an emotionally vulnerable state of mind, you might also want to learn about some high control groups that have similar recruitment and retention techniques such as Scientology, Mormonism and the Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • @iamanexmormon lol U maaad? is your account really called iamanexmormon? lol bro get a life. move ON. relax, I know you bitter you left Gods kingdom. you can still come back I promise

  • @iamanexmormon I'm just curious dude, why are you so pissed off? Somebody showed you wrong or something. Mormanism isn't bad.

Please shoot me a question. I'll come at it directly.

  • @iamanexmormon to anyone who might be struggling with personal issue in life: I hope you feel free to visit a trained professional sumo wrestler. As iamanexmoron points out, when you are at an emotionally vulnerable state of mind, you might also want to learn about some high freak groups such as iamanexmoron, KKK and Sumo Wrestling.

  • @Robyshileileh I did that and the mormon church treated me like shit when I didnt agree with everything they said. They forced me to give money when I couldnt afford to . I have never felt so low in my life while i was a memeber of the mormon church. They would get upset at me if I used the bible over the book of mormon. We were a true cult and I pray people will see the truth about mormons. Leaving was the best thing that I have ever done.

  • @chauncy817 Chauncy, you are spreading lies about the Mormons, I am with them often and none of what you are saying is in any way true, they don't force anyone to give money and the bible is their main book, them book of Mormon is the also

  • @chauncy817 why do you lie? you know thats not how it was. Im a member and what your saying is simply not true. nobody forces you to do anything. smh I understand that u are really mad, but if your going to be puttin down the church, at least use facts.

  • @Robyshileileh I agree with what you said... when people are down and out, there are always people out there who are willing to tell you all about the ludicrous things that they believe. The only thing you said that I might take issue with is "your life will change for the better."

To the less gullible out there, the key to getting out of "drugs, booze, gambling," etc. is RATIONAL THINKING. It an also help you cure that religion problem you may be affected by as well.

  • @Robyshileileh Im going on a mission soon to bring people closer to our savior. I know the church is true and know the gospel is the greatest blessing in my life, but the best part is that nothing not this video or a million of them or false testemonies will corrupt the Lords way.

  • @FalconKing60 Good luck on your mission my friend. I believe you will learn many valuable lessons, including how to deal with negativity in a very positive way (hopefully!). If you are interested in why I left the LDS church, I suggest you go to freedomofmind com slash BITE.

  • @iamanexmormon So you are a fake that makes numerous accounts?

  • @FalconKing60 Good on you! I'm not a member of the church, but I met many members and spent quality time with them, great people and my life is better having known them.

  • @Robyshileileh I wish I could say the same. I was raised LDS and at 14 years old, I told my seminary teacher that I didn't believe it anymore. He decided to send a letter to all the teachers in my high school and soon afterwards I met the stinging hand of ostracism as my friends stopped my my friends, adults treating my like crap - who'd have thought critical thinking would be so hated. Mormons are not nice people.

  • @windigo77 I think that you are completely full of shit! and just another lie spreading pervert weirdo, spreading your contrived b.s about the mormon church.

  • @Robyshileileh Sorry, that is not the case. I think you are a.. uh.. chocolate... bob sagget loving... dog eater... (see how effective and useful calling people random insulting things is? not very.)

  • @windigo77 Who the hell is Bob Sagget,, your boyfriend?

  • @Robyshileileh LOL, for not being a mormon, I find it funny that all of your comments on your channel are about defending them.

  • @windigo77 Yes, it is funny, but it's like if someone was spreading lies about your sister in high school, saying that she was a slut! and screwed 5 guys at the last party and it wasn't true! You would want to protect her from those people and set the record straight. Your sister cannot defend herself, but you can defend her,, is that funny? not at all,, Mormons are good and innocent people. They are defenseless like the sister in the last story.

  • @windigo77 And I find it funny that you find it funny.

  • @Robyshileileh I think it's clear which of us is, as you put it. 'full of shit'

  • @FalconKing60 Okay. But, on your own, do research on The Book of Abraham and compare the differences between what Joseph Smith said the scrolls said and what actual Egyptologists say they mean. Do the research. Don't trust anyone else. Read and then ask God if you want.

  • Musician............Skin Flute?

  • And it's not your church and the reason you got ex communicated was because you were speaking blasphemy.

  • And that night he saw an angel dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

  • fucked up cunt

  • Beautiful man.

  • @ToNGanStuNNa650 And whats wrong with being a homo? This guy probably grew up hating himself.

  • Peter you are a ROCK! May our lord always bless you. Be forever encouraged.

  • "chimps have bisexual orgies" Thats funny. I saw some chimps eating their own throwup and throwing their feces at the glass. Do gay people do that too?

  • Forgot to say at the end that you're a flaming intellectual.

  • Homosexuality is no more unnatural than is fornication or adultery. I am a Mormon and I understand this concept. Prop 8 was not part of Mormon doctrine, it was simply urged to protect the definition of marriage in CA. To leave the church over gay marriage, well, that is just silly.

  • @cevansroxy good for you bro, if anybody says to you that it's unnatural again, you should point out that chimps have bisexual orgies... and lions often have gay relationships...

  • As LDS folks, we are supposed to follow the laws of the land. We are also supposed to avoid "trifling in holy things", to mix the holy with the distinctly secular. LDS people in California had two choices. They could violate the tenants of the 12th Article of Faith and the 2nd Commandment, or they could commit Apostasy and disobey the leaders of their own faith. What the LDS Church did was ask people to choose between the principles they'd been taught all their lives, or the current leadership.

  • @Leafworth The 12th article of faith says that we should obey and sustain the law. It doesn't say that we shouldn't be able to change a bad law. My understanding is that we should obey and sustain whatever law is in place, but have every freedom and opportunity to change said law if we perceive that law to be evil, etc...

  • @cevansroxy I agree, "we" should be able to engage in the political process according to our conscience and seek out a more just society. However, I believe the same Laws that protect the establishment of religion from our government, should also protect our government from the establishment of religion. Non-profit organizations should be helping the people and providing the services they claim to render when seeking that status... not meddling in the political process. We have enough lobbyists.

  • @Leafworth An argument can be made that the government should not be in the marriage business to begin with. I can argue that it is ordained of God and should only be administered through churches. If the government wants a civilian contract, let's call it a civil union, not marriage. So, since the government has taken over a sacred ordinance, that of marriage, it has now, by force, become a political issue, when in realty it should be a sacred ordinance, without government involvement.

  • @cevansroxy Um no; actually if you read the marriage statutes of any of the fifty states, you'll find that the government isn't doing any of what you claim. I've been to a couple court house weddings and the judge never acted in the name of God, he always acted with the civic authority granted him by the State. There was no intent to usurp or subsume heavenly authority. Good luck making your argument with anyone that took civics in junior high.

  • @Leafworth You just made my point. The government 'marriage' is nothing more than a civil contract, so why not just call it a 'civil union'? Mormons view the term 'marriage' as a sacred union ordained of God. In short, the government has hijacked the word marriage and made it into something cheap and ungodly.

  • @cevansroxy It is not the job of government to make sure that legal marriage conforms with your definition of "godly."

  • @publicgood You're right, but the government should represent the will of the people and if the people define marriage one way, the government should respect that. What we see today are governments (or judges) gone wild, ruling against the will of the people. The government works for the people, not the other way around.

  • @cevansroxy it was "popular" once to segregate races and the judges stepped into see that those discriminated against received justice.... justice is not a popularity contest.. Reference Proposition 14 California 1955... (get involved..read.. become informed..) cheers..

  • @daNDayati We can go back and forth all day on whether government marriage should be between a man and woman or not, and both sides will make good arguments. But the fact of the matter is, and I'll repeat it again, the government SHOULD NOT be in the marriage business, plain and simple.

  • @cevansroxy civil unions are a matter of civic governance.. otherwise... who decides?

  • This is a lash-back ad campaign against LDS church members for their support of Prop 8. Bitterness never was happiness.

Your error is that the Church doesn't try to force people to do anything. Prop 8 is about keeping a small special interest group from trying to redefine what society considers to be a marriage. It's like redefining life to include some forms of death. Then tell everyone that life is good. Do what you want, but don't lie to people about what it is that you're doing.

  • This guy has a brother named Glen. Kinda famous.. Musical family i guess.

  • Aren't you part of the staff at Primary Childrens psych center?

  • WARNING: Mormons will try to steer you to their website at mormon . com

Why? Because they can tailor the information (i.e. propaganda). There are many sources for the real story behind this cult so it shouldn't be too hard to learn about it.

They are spending millions with their ad campaign trying to convince people that Mormons are "just like you". I guess that might be true if you're a member of a racist, bigoted cult. The LDS church spent $25M trying to fund Prop 8 to ban gay marriage.

  • this guy is killing me. he has no degree or studies in the biological sciences, and yet he's saying that what the mormons believe are against what science believes. wow, i'm guessing anyone who is smarter than this guy and can explain something that makes a wink of logical sense is capable of making him believe in anthing. what ever man, and keep hating if you want to.

  • I am an active LDS member but can really appreciate your message. I am glad you are not just bagging on the Church, but rather, expressing your personal experiences with everyone. I will die a Mormon but I am glad you are happy doing what you do. If you are happier out of the Church then all power to you my friend.

  • All these strong people leaving the church will only create a void that will be filled by the vulnerable.

  • For me it is ok you have left.

    And I am LDS.

  • When I left my Religion it was like my brain worked in a whole different way, a good way :)

  • Bravo, Peter. Good for you!

In Mormondumb, only men can hold the priesthood. Women not allowed. What about gay males? What about a woman who was born the wrong gender and later surgically corrected? The MORmON rules are laughable. Funny that LDS sheeple do not critique or challenge them.

ALL religions are man-made myth, fairytales and superstition with laughable sometimesick and cruel worthless rituals. LDS is a fun, involved, self-improvement, many-activities, family-oriented cult.

  • @robertgift You forgot to mention that they encourage breeding and discourage women to work, although they encourage women to get educations, for what I do not know, if they are told to stay home, have children, forget about what they learned in school, except that they must make student loan payments without being able to work and pay them off.

  • @crazistein Catholics also encourage children (ban contraception) to increase the Catholic population and make the Crutch richer and more powerful. MORmONS claim that spirits are waiting to be born, so parents must supply the physical bodies for these impatient spirits. (Which also increases the MORmON population.) Many MORmON females waste their expensiveducations. Many attend BYU to getheir MRS. (That is fine, but why bother if you will not use it?) Much pressure to marry and have babies.

  • @robertgift Those are excellent points you make, and I would add, that the earlier in life someone joins the church, the easier it is to brainwash them and stop them from questioning. Then, later in life, when they begin to work, the church can reap the benefit by charging them 10% of their income for blessings. Businesses make more money from repeat customers, the church is no different, only that they are breeding customers.

  • good for you man! All 88 of the current dislikes should be ashamed of themselves.

  • I've not once regretted leaving the Mormon church. Congratulations on your freedom, welcome to the real world.
