People seem to die of "overdoses" a lot after being tasered multiple times by a bunch of NAZI COPS who spray them with mace and crush the air out of the lungs while they lay defenseless(surrounding=hiding it!!) Well, there are some very good and caring police officers out there and I hope your brother is one. I believe the occupation itself draws bullies and criminals into it as pedophiles are drawn to be near children, like mosquitoes are drawn to light and carbon dioxide. How convenient, the video cuts off when it shows a police officer trying to recussitate the man back to life. I love when ordinary people offer their expertise on how police should have acted. Let me give these scenarios:

-Police do nothing and let man get killed by driving citizen, now citizen has to deal with this on his/her mind

I'll go ahead and correct myself. It looks like that was a firefighter/EMT trying to recussitate the man at the end. Thanks to these civil servants, as well. Also, it is unfortunate what happened to this man as an end result. My heart goes out to this man's family/friends. However, it's a shame that the police/EMTS are being attacked for their best efforts. You may note believe it, but I'm sure those involved weren't happy about what happened.

This man was under the influence of drugs and was a steroid using bodybuilder. He was running around an intersection half naked posing a danger to himself and was non-compliant with the officers. He was combative and very strong. This guy was "whacked out." The officers used a less than lethal tazer to subdue him. This could've been avoided had he not been using illegal steroids and not using cocaine and complied with the officers' simple request to "get down." But this is just my opinion.

Watch the video closely. The officer obviously uses the tazer as punishment, not to subdue. I stand by my opinion the officer needs to be FIRED!! Well, first of all, we are not in the same union as the police and secondly, if a cop tells you to do something, you have to do it. Also cocaine and anabolic steroids are illegal. The cops wanted him to lay down so they could remove him from harm. He chose to flee instead. Had he not been running through the intersection in his underwear the cops would've left him alone.

The man may have been high and uncooperative, but when he is already down on the ground and surrounded, the police use the hand tazer with a stabbing motion and continue even while it looks like the man is contained and handcuffed.

This action could be defined as punishment after control is obtained.

It is not the job of police to punish, although it seems some police in Shelby Township feel they have the right to judge and punish

Right at about 1:13 into the video you see the officer with his back to the road. He has a hand held tazer now. He starts jabbing at the mans side, then his head, neck, back and a good 5 to 10 fast jabbs into his side for good measure. One or two other officers have their tasers deployed but are harder to see on this video. The man with his back to the road is rediculous. And I suspect the officer standing next to the road is trying to block the video.

unbelievable. this "stabbing" motion is called a drive stun. It applies moderate pain that any rationale sober person would respond to accordingly. The person is obviously not handcuffed yet, hence the freely moving arm. This is why the officer keeps "stabbing" him so the man can be cuffed.

This drive stunning listed in the tazer instructions when they are issued since 2003, does not immobilize but gives extreme localized pain and may make the limbs jerk uncontrollably making restraining more difficult. This action is also referred to by many larger well trained police departments as a form a torture.
