  • Im moving here September 1st, about how long does it take to get to Boston From here?

  • @cme369 Hi . I envy you sooo much . how I would love to be living there still .. alas, I am not and it has changed a lot since I lived there . BUT . it is still 18 Miles North of Boston .. driving in these days . .no clue .. 1/2 hour I would say if no traffic .. when I worked in Boston .. I used to park at Wonderland in Revere and take the MTA into Boston .. could be an hour . . an hour at the most? . Has been so many years since I lived there .. N.Ellen

  • @nellen17 So is there a train somewhere near the town? I have heard there is one in Salem? I am only 16, I am eligable for my license, which I will get. But till then, is there a train near by that I could take to get to boston, because I will be going there often. Thank you. :)

  • @cme369 I do not know anymore .. lotsa busses though:) .. Ahhh to be 16 again:) and living in M'head:) .. Used to be train in M'head . LONG ago .. I would imagine Salem station is still there . was nice size .. and Lynn is not that far either .. I would call Train station in Boston . think NORTH and not South .. should be an 800 # to call to find out .. the train station in Salem was pretty close to Marblehead .. M'head, Salem, Swampscott all meet end of Tedesco St. .. Pass Glover School lft

  • @cme369 then over the bridge to Salem .. keep going and should take you to where the station is (was:) .. Fresh Lobster/Ipswich Clams & more at M'head Lobster Co in OLD town on the ocean:) .. ENVY!!!

  • @nellen17 Lol, well, Ill be living on Lincoln Ave. So I figured I would just take the bus to Wonderland, and catch the commuter to Boston. I did a little bit of studying on the MBTA website.

  • @cme369 Don't give info out here:) .. careful .. great idea to wonderland .. dog track across the street .. spent a LOT of time there ..

  • Thank you for posting this! I grew up in Swampscott and use to go here in Marblehead all the time and this brings back such meaningful memories as a child. I know each place of this film.

    LOVE IT !

  • @GeorgeGeorge7 I am glad you found it and enjoyed it . there is another part on M'head too .. I have relatives in Swampscott and one of my good friends still has ties there .. you may have heard of her .. Lesley Stahl .. Things there have changed a LOT .. I won't go back til it is time to join the rest of my immediate family at Waterside .. Much as I miss the seafood:) . cannot see what it is now .. sooo this meant a lot to me . .No clue why I felt I had to perhaps I knew it was changing
