Saw a video on here from a phil show called:Angry Women:Scared Husbands.The title is very misleading,it should be:Violent Women:Battered Husbands.Phil talks sympathetically to,& about, violent wives who beat up their husbands;even at one point telling a battered white husband, who is married to a gross morbidly obese black woman,to never tell a woman "calm down", with accompanying laughs from the female audience. Phil was encouraging womens irrational behaviour and mens acceptance of it.

I have watched Dr. Phil a few times and I have noticed that he points more of the accusing finger at the man than he does the wife. I saw the same thing on Sallie Jess Raphael Show especially when her friend Pat Ferrar (could be off on the name) was on the set. Pat was supposed to be a therapist. However in a show dealing with cheating spouses, she was telling the husbands that were cheated on that they are partially at fault but really tore at the husbands that were the cheaters.

I saw a bit of a Dr. Phil show where the husband was bent out of shape because his wife had an affair. She did this while he was out breaking his ass running a small construction company to secure a decent upper middle class lifestyle for the family. He's not trying to gain favor with women in the same way a man might denigrate his male friends in order to have women be more agreeable with him.
