  • Yes the one's on the bottom of the front flip up sight. If u ever do take them off post a vid on it. Thanks

  • Any ideas on how to take the rivets of the front sight sling or can u upload a vid on.or witch will be the easy way?

  • @Egaytanjr Meaning taking off your existing sling mount off? If so Ive been contemplating that and it has to be drilled out. If not let me know.

  • @Egaytanjr I ended up removing the front sling the other night, certainly not as easy as I thought. ended up drilling as much as possible (the rivet just spins in place so not that easy) then I took a pair of wire cutters to it and eventually got the rivet out. Im surprised how different the profile looks now but in the end it was useless weight.

  • Nice looking weapon!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong. I believe your one point sling demonstration is wrong. 4:25 If you're right handed, there should be one strap underneath your left armpit and the other over your right shoulder.

  • @Pat5725 I used to think that myself. Its really up to the individual how they want to where it, Ive certainly seen more then a few professionals using the way I have it. The beauty of the MS2 is that you can wear it either way and it functions almost the same. I used to have a Troy single point sling and it could only be worn this way so I think Im just carrying over that. Im gonna try it the other way next time I can get to the range and see if theres any advantage to one way or the other.

  • @TheTactical6string Thank you for your quick response. It seems the difference is when you transition from single to double point sling (Vise versa). It's probably a bit quicker and smoother transition the way I described it.

  • @Pat5725 Now you got me playin around with it. Actually the way Ive got it its easier to operate it in 2 point configuration like say you were like patrolling and letting it rest in front of you. If I put it under my left arm the strap limits the range of motion for me. Just feels more natural under my right arm. In single point configuration it hangs exactly the same. Your way is def better for slung across the back however. This is what I like, the interaction. Always something to learn.

  • @TheTactical6string And It will benefit you if you carry a sidearm. Less inteference.

  • I also waited a year for it. I have XTM covers on my rail and when using RSS with MS2 sling it binds and doesn't work. So I sold my whole magpul set up. The sling, RSA and ASAP plate.

  • @fatboyR6 Ive seen that happen with other rails too. Luckily it worked on the YHM light rail..

  • Just received my RSA from Brownell's today and while it IS ridiculous that it took so long, it's a bad ass addition to all of the other Magpul accessories on my Bushy. I've mounted mine on top and it does great. Not sure whether to wait on the Magpul MS3 sling or go with a Troy 2 Point Battle Sling. Pro's? Con's?

  • @2012skunkape Dont do the TROY 2 Point! I was very disappointed with it. Ive got the MS2 and its fine and I also have the TROY single point which is nice but the 2 point TROY is just off some how. Just my opinion but I didnt like it.

  • What light are you running in that VTAC mount? It looks like a Fenix PD30, but I'm not sure.

    Cool vid.

  • @blatantevil7 Thats it. Great light.

  • nice man

  • Is that AR duracoated?

  • @prchico520 Yup.

  • When my friend was in the Marines in the late 70s they told him "only lazy soldiers used a sling", now it's finally seen as important.

  • @semiautoriflelover At 9lbs plus, it very important to me :)

  • viking tactics for the win!! trying to convert one of my friends who wants this rsa. Im going to forward your video even though it want help my case. Great vid

  • I think I'm gonna get one of those, thanks for the vid.

  • It took so long for those to come out I forgot about them

  • @black1705f We waited for that pile of trash ACR and now it's out and still junk, they still don't have the different cals for it either.

  • @semiautoriflelover I have a feeling the different caliber setups will probably cost as much as a regular AR by itself, if and when they ever come out.

  • "The good ol' days when you could throw your package out!" That's what she said!

Most guns I have seen won't safe when not charged.

  • saw those on teh magpul site the other day really thought about it, I need to work on getting a sling and set up for mine... great vid bud.

  • i love to see people in there kitchen with guns :P

  • NICE man, I've been waiting for the RSA for about a year as well. I actually got so frustrated waiting I don't even want one anymore. Looks awesome though, would've been nice to have it 6 months ago.

  • Been waititng for this as well. Dynamic Armament has them for sale now. I saw a bunch on eBay a while back, but all from guys in china, so I passed on it. Looks cool, good first look video!!!

  • They were selling out so fast I ordered 3 just to have on hand till I get all the slings for my ARs and AKs.

  • nice i need a couple of those

  • Glad you finally got it after the long wait. Thanks for sharing and posting.
