  • The Irony is That Tom Delay is the one who put Edwards in the district

  • I've known Rob since around 1988 both personally as well as in business. I truly can say that Rob is a man of principle and will SERVE the district and country well. Service, a term that many politicians today do not understand. Rob will be an excellent congressman with deep down conservative principles. Rob's proven himself when the chips are down - and he will stick to his principles. It's just a shame I'm no longer in the district to vote for him... but I did contribute to his campaign!

  • Rob's final total on election day will be as follows:

    Edwards: 65%

    Curnock: 29%

    Other: 6

  • Chet Edwards, a favorite lap dog of ultra liberal Nancy Pelosi, buys his seat in congress by sprinkling money from his earmarks throughout the Brazos valley. Now that the public has turned against earmarks, Chet may be in for some real trouble.

Rob Curnock's political beliefs are perfectly in tune with voters in the Brazos Valley and it's now time to send someone to Washington who will represent the interests of his constituents rather than those of the Pelosi liberals.

  • Rob is an extremely viable candidate running against Chet. His conservative values mirror those of central Texans. A representative, is supposed to represent us in Washington. I need someone who will tell those people in Washington what is important to me. I want someone who will vote to ban partial birth abortion. I want someone who will vote against tax increases. Just as I do, he wants to drill for oil right now, everywhere, & explore other avenues for the future. Rob is who we need, NOW.

  • Furthermore, if he's a "communications" guy, why hasn't he branched out...included videos, etc? That doesn't require funds if this is a "for real" candidate. He's a blimey Waco reporter. He should be doing more!

  • Furthermore, all of his "qualifications" appear to be political appointments. Even in Texas, one could get elected for dog-catcher by conservative Texans and have more legislative experience than this candidate. I'd like to h... Read Moreear even just a web video from this guy to hear why he should be replacing Edwards. For the Republicans this is a true embarassment. I mean it's not much better than being a community organizer.

  • Watching the video myself doesn't do me a bit of good in feeling like I should even "get behind" this candidate, even against Chet. He comes off as a used car salesman for some odd reason. All I've heard on Curnock's part is he's the anti-Edwards...which sounds a LOT like Obama against Bush (vis-a-vis a McCain proxy-battle).

  • From one of my friends, one of whom ... Read Morewas somehow included in the fundraising video for Rob Curnock: "Hah! Yea, I was wondering if that photo was ever going to surface. Thats me and my NoFLO friends from last year. We were in the middle of a meeting and he just walks by asks if we would take a picture with him (after explaining that he was running for office). Then, after taking the picture his campaign manager slips us a 20. Real sketch,"
