The Black Sea was a lake

I never liked lakes they always creeped me out, and the black sea always irked me so there you go. Lake ancestry. don't know if the scientists know or realize this... but the same flooding around the pannonian plains would have caused the the black sea to become a sea. There is a small preserved area in serbia where there is still sand from this once covered by water, there are multiple snail species that live on the tall grases that evolved from being water snails, its an amazing sight to see.

@rosskay there are other species of animals unique to the area, including a type of iridescent lizard and a bird that lives with it symbiotically. It think both might be from africa, but im not sure. anyone who knows the names of these lizards, would love to know. been looking for it's name for a while now, never seen or heard it of anywhere else.

Being a kid, running streets of Yalta, I got so used to rocky beaches of black sea, that when I saw sandy beaches at the sea of Azov, I freaked out.

This is very interesting theory, but I still believe the old version that black sea closed in due to plate shifting over the time. The water in it is so salty and extremely clear. But on the other hand, maybe Atlantis was somewhere there??? Maybe Zmeiniy island in black sea was part of Atlantis?

In Quran: The flood was local (it was sent to Noah people), it started gradual (some people had time to run to mountains), then massive (the ship running in waves like mountains), finally the ship landed on a place referred as GUDI (no mention to a mountain) and it is an unknown Arabic word.

In old Sumarian language GU is the river bank and DI is an adjective so GU-DI could mean the big riverbank

see site quran . com , go to 11:44 click on all English translations. The word "mountain" is not there or in [brackets] as it was added by some translators, who were speculating that ALJUDI is a mountain.

In Arabic the 11:44 which mention ALJUDI is exactly 3 words

The latest scientific evidence say: The flood was local to black sea, there was a sudden moment when water rushed to the Black Sea from Bosphorus. This made the sea level rise 10-100 meters (to be confirmed).

This means there was a strong current towards the north west (the big shallow land of over 20,000 sq.km. near the big Danub river delta).

So for Noah his ship will float north-west towards the big river deltas

@Illimitus Wrong! This proves the great flood of the Genesis book in the Bible really happened. It happened around the time stated in the video. I don't see how Christians would want to hide this. You don't make sense.
