His playing is incredibly great. I know he plays a violin made by a contemporary luthier. Without doubt it is a good instrument but it would be better to switch into a premium Stradivarius or Guarmerius del Gesu. He really deserves to own those instuments! I hope some Mecenas give him at least one of those violins.

Ricci would have been proud of that. the pizzicatos at 2:13 are practically impossible to get even and with all notes sounding. not the most sublime music, but great as an encore for the few fiddlers who can actually play it.
