Zenyatta is exhibiting what is known as the Spanish walk. It's an old classical dressage movement that is trained at the upper levels. It's amazing that she does it naturally on her own!
I know I have a date with Rachel Alexandra, but I wish I could meet The Queen of Dancing, Zenyatta. Hot Dog, she has more moves than the whole cast of Dancing with the Stars :)

PERFECT SONG FOR A PERFECT HORSE. Love watching videos of Zenny prancing & dancing. She is retired at Lands End now in KY. She probably misses the crowd roaring just for her. I hope she adjusts well and knows that we all still love her more than she will ever know!

I've seen soooo many dancing videos of Zen etc.... but this one is by far one of the greatest so far!!! Not only did you use her dancing/prancing moves to the music but, you used two Icons!!! As it should be, the King of Pop and the Queen of Racing, all under the watchful eye of Moss!!! I love you Zen sooo much and am so thankful that you have owners that actually give a crap and a trainer that knows you!!! Keep on smiling big girl!!!

But watching the one you did of her with the slower movement, I realized my slow shots -- especially near the end -- might be too slow. I adore Zenyatta & read somewhere that an animal behaviourist had said that she is dancing to establish a relationship with her fans. That it is her way of saying to us: I love you back. I found that so moving to read......
