there are very few times when someone portraying the role surpasses the origional portrayal but in this case, Brian beats Mike Myers hands down :)

i know the musical is different from the film but all the same

I really hope Brian gets the Tony. He completely deserves it. Don't get me wrong, the three boys who play Billy Elliot and everyone else nominated a re very good, but Brian is SO amazing and SO talented. He made the role of Shrek. There is NO ONE who can play the role like he does. Go Brian! :D

I adore the casting choice of Brian as Shrek. I think he's brought alot of depth to the role, you can tell by just the little clips and even the CD. I cannot wait to see the show this June!
