  • Man beachte die Wespentaille :-)

  • Jazz -3

  • this is a greath voice !!!

  • One of the most underrated singers in her generation. Had a GREAT voice, incredible phrasing and was simply among the best!!!

  • She is so talented but so pretty too. Great voice! Great performance! I love her music, I love her voice!

  • @Carlzmotion

    You bet pal ;-)

  • combination of talent & beauty

  • @Baskerville22 and as you've probably heard, she is among classiest, fun and real people that ever was in show biz.

  • ah! we are both right..from her Bio: "Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in the San Gabriel Valley of California, Vikki Carr, the eldest of seven children, began performing at the tender age of four singing Adeste Fidelis in Latin at a Christmas program."..As I said from Rosemead, Cal

  • @Carlzmotion I agree, love it

  • She would come in once in awhile to my Aunts Mexican Resturant in Rosemead, Cal on Valley Blvd..That is where she is from..I was from Montebello, Ca

  • @billeagle51 She's from El Paso. I saw her at a McCain rally in Las Cruces before the elections.

  • @irvingklaw57 Maybe born! But I use to see her in Rosemead, Cal way back in the 70's and 80's. I think her mother, at the time, lived in Rosemead and was always with my aunt at the Rest, my Aunt was from Columbus, NM. But, occassionally I see Viki at my Aunts Mexican Resturant in Rosemead. I even said hello to her, attractive lady. Las Cruces is south of me, I currently live in Abq now. My Aunt and the Resturant are long gone. So she could be where your at now. My cousin has sign pics from her.

  • @irvingklaw57 Rosemead is in the San Gabriel Valley!

  • if i could travel back in time....

  • nice. never knew this existed until someone picked it out of my big fake book.really like it.

  • How's that for a backup performance! I think it is safe to say that the 'well of stars' was pretty deep in those days.

  • l don't know her, but l liked her voice and looks. Thank you.

  • Wow, go Vikki!

  • Oh, boy. Way too short. I need more.

  • great job Vicki!

  • Die Doris Day Video´s kann ich in Deutschland nicht anschauen. Wirklich schade. Sie ist ja Deutsche. Trotzdem finde ich die Version von Vikki gut.

  • When Vikki sings, we all take a sentimental journey. Doris Day would be proud to hear Vikki's take on this song. Just beautiful!

  • You bet ! they really were musical perfection in those days - what the heck happened !

  • @voldpilot : We somehow became confused and unsure of ourselves, and took up the habit of yelling and screaming. But we DO remember.

  • I like my computer, thank you.

  • I'd like to take a journey with this babe.

  • nolarae1929 Jules..I too wish TV was

  • I find it amazing at what 1950s american women put there bodies through.

Look at the size of her belly its like insane...

  • the package is complete

  • It's a cinched waist. That was the style.

  • a little more uptempo. I like.

  • China peruana linda hermosa esta cancion esta dedicada a ti.

  • The best of the best Vicky Carr

  • Something special.

  • Marilyn Matzenbacher.

  • she is so beautiful.

  • From the beginning, Vikki Carr was one Hell of a singer. Everything in place--power, intonation, pitch and a real love of and sympathy with lyrics. A big career was certain for her.

  • In Poland title "Sentymentalny Joe" Record by "Mewa" Poznań 1946 Sings: Tadeusz Miller

  • NO on ia Doris Day. No one Ella, Lena, Dusty, Janis, Crissy, Whitney or Amy.

But Miss Carr is like no other. Bette make fun all you want.

    but Miss Carr can deliver!

  • Nobody can sing this great song like Doris Day. Vikki Carr is good, but not Doris!!

  • Les Brown first recorded this with Doris Day about 20 years earlier
