Brilliant performance and singer!!! She's right up there with the greats.....Garland, Minnelli, Streisand, Ella, Patsy, ....etc. I wish she got the credit she deserves as a truly timeless vocalist, and that more people could appreciate this talent rather than the rap crap that seems to be on the charts. "playing the crowd" does not have to mean she is faking anything. If you have ever performed before an audience you would understand another way it could be taken: there is an energy that the performer gets from the audience, and gifted performers can surf on it and send it back in the power of what they do. KD Lang clearly has that kind of talent. I assume the opening of the Olympics was the biggest live crowd she had played to, and she was magnificent.
I love how she sings but i cant forgiver her, on an interview she did...she said she plays the crowd. I prefer an honest performance. However i give her her whats due...great interpretation of her songs. Just wish the game playing wasn't there.

Brilliant! My husband & I have had the privilege of seeing her live 3 times and getting to hear her sing this live twice. Each time, the venue is completely silent for this song. If Jesus were to be a God and to die for your sins be sure that he would do the same for your enemy and perhaps even before he does it for you.
Know that if a merciful Higher Power creates a soul he will also deliver it from suffering and never cast them into eternal suffering. The suffering is created by us. The punishments are always unjust in Gods eyes. To hard or too light, never perfect. We often focus on punishment where God only focuses on rehabilation.

The followers of Christ held females equal in fact there was female apostle that was there for more of Christs death and rising than any other.
You should know that even your sacred scripture perverts the message of Christ when it preaches of a abrupt and violent end where souls will be punished for eternity. Jesus would die for your enemy.

To me this song reminds me of the prejudice of the church towards females and the gospels written in thier name. The christian faith shamefully excluded female scripture from your bible. They also limited priesthood to men. This was never taught by Christ. Christ wanted to perfect his JEWISH temple. And he would have forgiven any sexual sin and shown you exactly how to get others to love you regardless. This song remind me of Mary Magdalene.

Brilliant! My husband & I have had the privilege of seeing her live 3 times and getting to hear her sing this live twice. Each time, the venue is completely silent for this song. Every person had goosebumps and then the place erupted in cheers! One of the best live performers ever! I think she is better live than on cd.
