Can yall not understand that there can be two different guys with the same name in the skateboarding world? This Steve is the legend that ranks up and skated with Hackett, Alva, and Peralta. This was even before the mid 80's jolt with skaters like Hosoi, Gator, Grabke, Hawk, Caballero, and street skaters like the Gonz, Kendall and Kaupas. Steve was one of the originals. The younger Steve was this lanky, awkward skateboarder who peaked around 97-98. Haven't heard much from him lately.

My greatest day ever skating was back in the very early 80's at Apple in Columbus, OH (my home park)...Olson was skating the eggbowl and I was trying to impress him...I was ripping some nice ollies and when I was coming out of the pool he was just entering and he said, "You're getting some nice air there"...I couldn't believe it.
