if zerg wasnt going to drone drill the pylon he needed to micro his zerglings better, aka not lose them all running around doing nothing, he lost his patience. he could have placed that sunken in a better spot and went quick hydras or just kept massing lings.

Yeah, the problem with this guy is that he's giving a very basic level of starcraft commentary - any decent player could stop 2 lings with probes. His comment about the scouting overlord was incredibly pointless as well. We assume that the overlord is to scout, and isn't just hanging around the middle, as he explained it.

The key really was getting the pylon down. I mean, a nine pool should take care of double proxy gates. If Mondragon had taken down the probe and the pylon, like the top pros will most of the time, he would've won.

Typically against a rush like this, you will see the zerg pulling five or six drones IMMEDIATELY. I'm not sure why Mondragon didn't do so.

such rush is easily countered with sunks between drones and very early Ventral Sacs upg, droping metabolic-lings early out of zergs base. Mutas are also a good decision but the best is going spire and making ventral sacs, forcing him to make corsairs and have no money do defend. And drop lings = gg for P
