  • yeah I got one of those too! love it for spring shad fishing..used mine in the white shad vids..

  • they are the best rods for the money in my book what you usually use for shad?

  • big shad darts or Northland mimic minnow heads with a curly tail works good..

  • mimic minnows are awesome catch a lot of nice bass on the bigger sizes and curly tails catch em all

  • so i mainly fish the ponds/lakes round here in newark and really want to get into some tidal fishing. any chance you can give me an idea of a couple spots to hit to start? i know you got your hidden spots as everyone does, i just got no idea where to start other than youre basic white clay creek down by campus. where are some of the decent spots everyone knows about?

  • pretty much anywhere on the christiana river is the place to fish fall and winter...all the fish except for the suckerfish leave the white clay n head for the christiana for the winter...newcastle area hits best I think!

  • its actually a very deep sharp channel bend with old timber from the early 1900's at the bottom...the craps r insane there right now!

  • what kind of jig are you using

  • 1/16" oz round jighead with a 2" grub or curlytail

  • try a 1/16oz road runner jighead there really good

  • u know, i've tried then and never did any good...the pickerel like em there
