MP4 is much-much better than the new MP10. MP10 is made of 100% plastic. MP4 is made of combination of plastic and "DIECAST" metal. However, MP4 is already out of production and the price in online stores goes up to more than US$300 nowadays. Luckily, I bought mine (MP4) few months back at only US$220.

@hisham77x Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if I would sell MP4 to get MP10. I guess I'll keep it. I don't really like the new head mold's face. It still lacks the true cartoon-esque looks.

@seekerjet DON'T sell your MP4 to get the MP10. The MP4 value is appreciating now. The average price for the MP4 in ebay now is USD$300 +++++.

october you can preorder it on tfsource, there is also a seperate trailer that transforms and has a repair bay and rollar, for 100 bucks and is a bit taller and wider than the mp04 trailer, that one will arrive in February 2010

No problem, glad I could help. When you've received it you'll be astonished by the quality. The only slight drawback is the bad quality chrome. Within a year, a noticeable amount will fade away because it's not the same as the chrome used in the 80's Transformers. But that's a problem of all reissues.

well the Hasbro 20th anniversary non dvd release is a nice figure as well, the only drawback is u dont get the trailer and the smokestacks are shorther but u can get the takara stacks and replace them

The 20th Anniversary edition doesn't come chromed and the color is slightly different. The good thing is that it's much more affordable.

The actual first release of the 20th anniversary edition that came in 2004before the dvd edition came out in 2006 does come with chrome and batlle stains on the robot grill I got two of them and the color is just as vibrant as with the takara

Yup, same here. I knew it was heavy, but not this heavy! I really like the front of his truck mode. It looks so solid and real, but still very anime style.
