I've never taken anything this severe, could I?? I don't know!! I've shared a few lashes with a leather belt with guys, about 12-20 strokes, & both stayed silent throughout, we felt very proud. I'd like to think I could take it but I guess it would have to be a once in a lifetime experience!! Anyone up for it??
I've had a bullwhip just to see what it was like and how much I could handle. After the first one I said "Wow, its not like it is in the movies." And its not. I took about 9 and was proud to take that as you should be proud of your stoicism.
What it does is slam you against the wall/tree or whatever with the force of it and knocks the breath out of you. Literally like a bull charging into your body only burns like hell. Worse than it looks in the movies. But by then you have learned you can TAKE it and you want to take another lash. And another. It'll put hair on your chest, mate.
I have always had a fascination with pain, The Spartans used to train themselvs with whipping contests & be silent & impassive throughout!! I have a close buddy & we have both given shared caning, strapping & lashing contests. The pain is bad, but the adrenalin and endorphins floding into ones brain is a fantastic high and the feeling of self mastery having taken the pain stoically and silently is amazing!! It's a tremendous bonding experience to share pain with a buddy you trust.
