I run GTA IV at 800x600 resolution on medium details with al the sliders below 35.When its sunny it runs pretty well bot not perfect but when its raining it drops below 8 fps.

I can run GTA IV on my F3SV on low details and resolution but its still choppy.Not a very good laptop for such a game.

@razvyIV96 My Graphicscard is broken, so gaming is no matter on that. Only Windows runs on it... now searching for a new Windows Laptop

mint linux 8 runs real nice on the F3SV! Even the quick launch buttons work. I also see OSX can run on it too.

@themiln The main problem is, that die Graphic-Card is brooken (at least I think so), because the Fan always runs freaking fast and the heat is way to much wich comes out of the vent. holes.

So I´m searching for a new Windows Laptop, because even in a VM my MacBook can´t run all the nice Stuff I need as a programmer. (Ok, this was kind of Offtopic^^)

the clicking sound of the hard disk still continues, asus decided that theres no reason to worry about and that the disk is fine.i couldn't cope with the sound and i finally replaced at my own cost the disk which is a hitachi sata 250gb with a seagate one 160 gb i hope it will solve the problem but i guess i'll have problems with the warranty overall. anyway, apart from this issue the notebook rules!

i know what you mean, the laptop is very fast, but there are some problems with it. hope asus will fix this in their new notebook series

nice stuff, but i think it makes an annoying sound while working, a tickering sound which is a good reason for upset

i think the fan is very loud, but its ok, ´ve got an Eee, so the other one will be installed as a second desktop for working etc.

i yesterday bought an a269 f3sv laptop, and i want to testi it tomorrow, i heard tha the battery life is a bit problem but i'll find out

I recommend an IBM Thinkpad X41. It's a little ripper performance wise. Only 1.5Kg. You could probably pick one up cheaper than a EeePC.

it would have been a much better video if you had not been on meth when filming.

Your camera does not handle meth / tweaker closeups. Its like living in a speed den with on junky who got his first fix in 3 days.

slow it down turbo. we dont need to see every piece of paper the thing comes with, you can gloss over the card board and focus on the hardware. your unboxing resembles a 2 year old getting cake for the first time. Messy but confusing.

1. What about some tech detail of notebook (CPU Mhz, Ram, ect)

2. What is max temperature (burn/ide)

3. Battery life time (full gaming time)

4. Noise

5. Sound quality

6. Maybe some benchmarks for compare

Connectors: DVI, VGA, 4x USB 2.0, Gigabit-LAN, 56k-Modem, TV-Out.

2. 50°C I think under full power, in idle something like 35°C

3. 40minutes during gaming, 1h 45minutes during office things

4. it´s not noise, only the DVD-Burner makes some noise when it works

5. the Speakers are ok. Not the best ones, but for notebookspeakers they´re ok

6. I will make a Video where 3DMark will run, tomorrow it should be online

how is the build quality?

realy nice, nearly everything is perfect, only two things are not so well:

1. The DVD-Burner is noisy

2. The Down-Left corner can be pulled down a little bit

but all in all it is a nice piece of hardware

i don´t know how fast the Asus G1S is. I think the G1S is faster, but only with the DX10 card
