A tip I used to get past that crack in the floor who sucks you up there around the third minute. I dodged and ran up to the burning car and took place behind it. The flames hit the crack and it burned out, so I remained unharmed. I did it in my second try, so I don't think it's easy, but it damn well works ;) Great episode and great job putting these vids online. I'm gonna subscribe!

you know what i learned a lesson :) i picked the game up right after i typed it down just to give it another go and you do actually get used to the controlls and i must say.. this game is actually very good once you get used to it!

Do you play many survival horror games? Because they're notorious for their unintuitive controls. See, I play Resident Evil and Silent Hill (and even the old AITD games) all the time, so I thought it was pretty easy to adjust to this game's controls.

nah im more of a sports games type of guy.. alone in the dark was is pretty much the only survival horror game i got, played RE4 on the computer and RE5 demo on the xbox, already paid for RE5 =D cant wait to pick it up on release!

Ashley in Resident Evil 4 is worse, mostly because you have to actually protect her from enemies. You don't need to worry about protecting Sarah, which makes her much less annoying.

I have played it more than 100 times and i never, i repeat NEVER finish that level. This game have a lot of bugs. Eg. while i am driving the car "crash" to nowhere or it turn right and if you do this only 1 time you lose!!!! Do not buy this only rent it because it sucks.

Well, apparently your copy just sucks, because as you can see here I did it just fine. And even if you do die the game is nice enough to give you checkpoints that are pretty close together anyway.

This game looks far better than 3.5 would suggest. I suppose that a lot of the reviewing companies have a lot of games they need to get through in a certain deadline, but most of the reviews I've seen have been a little...premature.

They could've made this part much more realistic. New York City in a disaster like that would surely have hundreds of thousands of people running the streets, even more cars of the street, etc. Not just like 10 or 20 cars randomly driving u know?

If it were realistic you probably would be trapped in a gridlock of cars, and it would be impossible to escape the earthquake. I bet there'd be wrecks all over the place blocking entire streets, especially considering this disaster occurred so suddenly and there was no time to evacuate.

I just picked up this yesterday, and so far I think it is very challenging, but that's good. I do like the driving, but it leaves no room for error. It does stink that you have long sequences you have to repeat if you die though.

Shooters have been hit and miss for me. I can never really tell if I'll like it or not before I buy it. For example, I bought Halo 1 and 2 but got bored of both before finishing them, then turned around and enjoyed the hell out of Far Cry.
