  • agreed sirDJMuziek, we are coming. Serge P Soucy will become a known name.

  • new original ideas need to start getting here. they need to stop with all these remakes and non-original ideas. i mean if your such an artist why not come up with something of your own.

  • what's the movie with the picture jumping on the bed at 1:56-2:00

  • @mm091540

I think that's from Peter Jackson's "The Frighteners", a movie about a guy who pretends to hunt ghosts while actually working with two real ghosts. He does fine until suddenly he comes face-to-face with murders being committed by what looks like the Grim Reaper, who is able to possess pretty much anything around it like pictures, carpets, etc.

  • One day, i swear i will be on this show. One day!

  • These horror directors are some of the best filmmakers in cinema ever. Their films were original and extremely terrifiying, unlike the sloppy horror remakes of today. I wish horror was still as shocking as it used to be.

  • somebody make a decent horror movie:[ im tired of not being scared

  • Anybody know the song at 2:11?

  • I'm 13 right now and these people have inspired me to become a filmaker when I get older. And I will try may best to make it scary again and not just remakes with a lot more blood.

  • @wickedlester97 I wish you the best of luck. :)

  • I wonder....was Joe Dante or Sam Raimi ever interviewed for the commentary?

  • wow what movie was that?!! ghost thingy jumping out of portrait.. yikes!

  • As response to the speach at 2:40, well man...look what works now, cgi and among other loads of crap.........But I will remain confident in this genre HORROR FTW!!!!

  • It seems several of us viewers share the same interest in creating something new and truly horrifying. You need not worry, Masters of Horror, we're coming!

  • @SirDJMuziek I think that we should all work on an anthology together!

  • The younger generation of horror fans that are going to be "The Next Generation" of horror film makers....I'm gonna be one of them.

  • Sadly, all people are making nowadays are remakes....

  • "I would like to see it get scary again", me too!!!!

  • I'm already an aspiring horror author. Now I think I'm an aspiring horror cinematogropher as well!

  • @lookitsmeandyou Well I'm an aspiring actress so if you need someone to scream in your film, look me up. :)

  • @lookitsmeandyou

Ughhh don't let us down, to many horror movies are shit these days.

  • nightmare on elm street

  • Lol, and people tease me for taking inspiration from old movies.

I'm glad to hear fromt the real masters of horror, because I agree. Horror is not scary anymore, they are gory and ugly. Not the true point in my opinion.

I wish someone would go back to the good old horror values, I know I will try.

  • Cool. Thanks for posting.
