I'm fan of George Andrew Romero movie, of his first movie, "Night of the Living Dead." made in 1968, I looking for 30th anniversary. I seen the 1990, director by Tom Savini.
new original ideas need to start getting here. they need to stop with all these remakes and non-original ideas. i mean if your such an artist why not come up with something of your own.
I think that's from Peter Jackson's "The Frighteners", a movie about a guy who pretends to hunt ghosts while actually working with two real ghosts. He does fine until suddenly he comes face-to-face with murders being committed by what looks like the Grim Reaper, who is able to possess pretty much anything around it like pictures, carpets, etc.
These horror directors are some of the best filmmakers in cinema ever. Their films were original and extremely terrifiying, unlike the sloppy horror remakes of today. I wish horror was still as shocking as it used to be.
I'm 13 right now and these people have inspired me to become a filmaker when I get older. And I will try may best to make it scary again and not just remakes with a lot more blood.
As response to the speach at 2:40, well man...look what works now, cgi and among other loads of crap.........But I will remain confident in this genre HORROR FTW!!!!
It seems several of us viewers share the same interest in creating something new and truly horrifying. You need not worry, Masters of Horror, we're coming!
Lol, and people tease me for taking inspiration from old movies.
I'm glad to hear fromt the real masters of horror, because I agree. Horror is not scary anymore, they are gory and ugly. Not the true point in my opinion.
I wish someone would go back to the good old horror values, I know I will try.
I will be one of the next masters of horror and I hope I see you all there.
