Brawl and Melee aren't the same games, Melee is more for the people, who like skilled serious fights and brawl is more for the people who like fun, unserious battles.

it's all personal preferance, not saying it's impossible for there to be unserious Melee matches and serious Brawl matches. I play Melee for more serious matches and Brawl (WiFi lag sucks!) for more unserious matches

it looks the the up smash could be avoided if a character could hit the ground quickly and ukemi, or airdodge. might be hard against fastfallers.

dash canceled u-smash is nothing like a wavedash other than moving a certain distance on the ground without actually walking. Wavedashing had like a billion more uses. There not comparable...

first of all- u really have to dig deep into the game to understand and if u dont like the game i dont think u have.

secound- all the other "standar" fighting games like tekken or soul calibur use pretty much the same engine as games like street fighter for SNES. btw i make games i think i know a little more about this than u.

I love Brawl. I like Melee more, but I still like Brawl. Don't judge people that you've never met.

Just because it uses a similar engine doesn't mean it has high quality game play. Do you know how many games used the unreal engine and still failed.

I'm pretty sure anybody can dash attack cancel, but its effects only show / are only useful with a handful of characters.

whoops, forgot to log out of my account when I was at my friend's house and he forgot to sign on to his account. I know wavedashing isn't back, and I like that it isn't because that's what sets this appart from brawl. The slide combo with Wario/Snake/Sheik is pretty handy though.

it's nearly simultaneous and hard to explain. someone should put a video up showing the controller movements and speeds. this would make it easier.

This is well-known and was discovered during the 1st or so week of the Japanese release of Brawl. And someone's already named it after himself (despite not being the original discoverer). A lot of people want to call this a Gatling Combo since that's what it would be called in any other fighting game.

I'm not trying to name the technique after myself, but the connection of Bite to Sliding Up-Smash, and even that was done jokingly (note the "lolz" at the end of the title). I was mainly showing some Wario players an APPLICATION of the technique.

I like that combo, though I wish it did more than 35%. Try a shorthop dair then doublejump and another dair then chase and chomp. You'll rack up more damage that way. I know because I got owned by a Wario player in a tourney match :p
