  • What a wonderful mixture of such great and talented people. Truly an amazing piece of art.

Thank you, a thousand times over.

    -Much love from Afghanistan.

  • I lost myself....

  • wah! zindah baad!

  • Humayun Khan is very talented and his ability to perform with other talented international musicians is wonderful to see. His ability to improvise allows him to mesh with many types of music and different instruments.

  • Keep on listening, and each time enjoy it more than the previous time...simply lovely!

  • Mavlana Jalaleddin Mohamad Balkhi Great

  • A true master piece, one of the best that I have seen in a long long time. Such great talent on one stage!

  • So impressive....great work!

  • Dari, not Farsi.

  • @Sohroba Farsi, Parsi, Dari Tajiki and Persian are different names of the same language, as a native speaker of the language from Kabul, I dont mind any of the names but the more local accepted name of the language among its speakers is Farsi whether they live in Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran or Uzbekistan, and in English speaking world its known as Persian language. I am proud of Tajik/Persian Maulana Jalalduin Balkhi from Khurasan, greater Iran.

  • @Kourosh587 right, I'm simply saying that Hamayoun Khan is singing this poem in the dari dialect, not Farsiye Irani.

  • @Kourosh587 Really, Dari is the proper name for the language as its spoken in Afghanistan and it might be the same language but Tajiki is still slightly different from Dari or Farsi etc

  • rachid zeroual you ar great.......

  • Magnificent !!! The current composition of Mawlana Rumi's masnawi (Beshnaw az Nay) was first composed by Ustad Nainawaz, a well-known Afghan composer and artist. Homayun Khan is also a great Afghan vocalist of Indian Classical Music.

  • Fantastic performance by Rachid Zerwal on the ney...the plaintive notes set the stage for the beautiful poem to follow; wonderful orchestra, wonderful rendering. RIP Rumi, your poetry lives on.
