  • any chance u can reupload a normal working copy instead of this? your other vids dont have this voice problem

  • whats up with the shitty voice quality? why not just make something that works the way its supposed to the 1st time, i dont get it why this vid has to be different? why should i have to change a bunch of crap just to watch a video? thanks a lot

  • Um...

  • To set this to 480p just click the gear icon on the bottom right of the video and change it.

  • @IAmKitaRouge all it shows when u click on the gear is 360p and doesnt show any options to change it to anything else.

  • Who the hell are ANY of you to judge an entire nation? It blows my mind, really. I hate people who have that "holier than thou" attitude based on what country they reside in. It's unfathomable and arrogant. And you think that you have a right to call Americans ignorant- fuck you. You're equally so for saying things like that. As if every person in one country is the same. Ugh. I truly don't understand why people think it's okay to insult entire regions.

  • 00:14

  • the russian guy sounds like Reznov

  • I came to learn Russian not alien language

  • @Matt2779 wuajaja

  • This is much harder than Spanish.

  • @7ferret7 Senor eso no es verdad Espanol es bien fasil de aprender Alright ?

  • All of the comments about how arrogant, rude and stupid Americans are is really off putting /: There are ignorant people everywhere, it's hypocritical to speak so poorly of a whole nation. I'm Canadian and I don't think Canadians or Americans have earned the bad reputations you've bestowed upon them.

  • @SmokenTotalled

    or us, I should say.

  • @SmokenTotalled Lol what you just typed was arrogant, rude, stupid go learn manners and look at yourself before you type anything rude.

  • @Agomongo1235 pardon me?

  • yeah babe im russian and i bet i repeat it all better than all of you!

  • O.o

  • this is AWESOME

  • ker, ker. cra-cker. Polly wanna cracker?

  • nasally faggot distracting

  • The quality on this adio needs to be fixed!

  • @nextluther12 use 480p and it'll work just fine.

  • @AntiFeminaziMale Thanks

  • I lold at the horrific quality of <480p

  • @vladikostec Knowing Latin helps with learning Germanic labguages, uderstanding alot of science terms, the meaning of English words, and multiple other things.

  • I'm on lesson 7. Getting better.

  • i'm good

  • i suck

  • If the software sounds anything like this, forget it!

By the way, CelticKraut, its the US whose economy is on the way to becoming third world. And then the rest of us will have no need to talk to you!

  • @4demolition Obviously, you have no idea what you are talking about from an economical standpoint. You do realize that if America's economy falls, the USD, GBP, RUB and EUR will fall as well, as demonstrated in 2007? Or rather infamously the CHF and AUD, which have over-inflated and's economy is going on the blitz. If America becomes a third-world country, know that the rest of the countries of the world becomes 8th! Go brush up on your economics.(:

  • what kind of crap audio is this?

  • @bravissimo109 set it to 480 p.....

  • Sorry, but that last sentence was so grammatically incorrect it was painful. Should have been {The fewer Americans that learn foreign languages, the better . . .} Anyway, to all that pursue knowledge and self-improvement by whatever methods, I salute you.

  • The problem I'm having is the different pronounciations of the ending sound in certain words such as the word for "I understand" is it a "you" or an "oa" (as in boat) sound. They say it both ways. Same for "you understand" is it a Chuh or Che sound, or the word for English (Anglee -- ski, or Anglee -- skeh). It could be a matter of accent and understood either way, but i'd like to know.

  • Pimsleur is great, I've learned lots of Japanese and had great use of it when I was in Tokyo last summer. Guess it's time for some Russian. Funny how you don't understand a word or sometimes can't even hear what they're saying, but at the end of each lesson you understand and hear everything just fine =).

  • In Russia, language speaks you.

  • I can't hear anything :/

  • @AkaneAmii In ordet to understand better open up google translate and type in the enlighs words (english to russian) and choose read phonetically =), so if you can't figure out exactly what he's saying in russian you can read it insted, then listen to the words again and this time you'll understand better!

  • ьн лун ищфкв шы агслув гз Ж(

  • i have been wanting to learn russian for so long and this works very good

  • Чё за нах..?

  • Joder, con lo fácil y relajado que es cogerse un puto manual de papel y estudiárselo. La gente está chiflada.

  • @ulitseful

    我同意

  • @ulitseful leer un lenguaje es una cosa, chico. hablarlo es otra, y es mucho mas importante también

  • set it to 480p for clear voice

  • @xaugstbrnsredx 240p works too

  • @xaugstbrnsredx their.is.not.a.480p:(

  • @hirofire1994 Their used to be 480p

  • @hirofire1994 Go on their channel and watch it. You can do it on there.

  • @xaugstbrnsredx i don't have the option to change it to 480p

  • mmmm??? how do i listen to this?

  • How much is this dammit I need it

  • @GuyWithALife502 pirate bay, or $1000. Your choice.

  • @AreaQNH870 well im kinda poor

  • This lesson was garbled, could not hear much useful

  • @ColKorn1965 Me either it's all blurred & speeded-up.

  • most of the americans do not speak any foreign language

  • It's really a pity, I know

  • @tom123ek Lots of people in southern america speak spanish, because it's free to learn at school.

  • @tom123ek Most Americans don't have to. We live on an isolated continent and rarely travel. Most Japanese do not speak a foreign language. Most Australians do not speak a foreign language. Hell, most French people don't speak a foreign language, neither do the English or the Russians. Do you get where I'm going with this? Most countries of reputable power like to live isolated. To single Americans out is arrogant.

  • @Darrknox I'm going to guess you've never been to Europe (Although Im pretty sure you'll tell me you have been to X Y and Z countries) 1. I've backpacked round mainland Europe for 12 months and honestly never met ANYBODY who couldnt string a couple of sentences together in English (Just incase you didnt know, English isnt their native language.) 2. You saying "most French people dont speak a foreign language" is pure ignorance. 3. I just realised your American, this explains everything.

  • @G08208

"I just realised your American, this explains everything."

Couldn't help but lol at you insulting the intelligence of Americans while simultaneously misspelling "you're"...

  • @VictimOfBoredom Lmao, he also spelled "realized" wrong

  • @TheGinger3232 actually, he's british. they spell' realize' with an S.

  • @AntiFeminaziMale Oh, well then. Damn, don't I feel silly.

  • @tom123ek because we dont need to?

  • @tom123ek I've found many Americans to be quite lazy, and also a bit arrogant when it comes to learning anyone elses language (or even taking time to understand another culture). It's fine by me. The less American's that want to learn foreign languages the better my business and career opportunities, because I want to learn as many as possible!

  • @NelsonStJames I completly agree. I'm taking a French class, and only 5 out of like, 29 are actually interested in learning. The rest of the students dont even take the time to learn the difference between le and la, resulting in phrases such as "La homme..." and "Le femme..." which are both gramatically incorrect and unacceptable. We also make fun of people trying to learn English, while most of us don't even try to learn a new language. To me, it's kind of sad.

  • @NelsonStJames Out of curiosity, what languages do you plan on learning? I plan on learning German, Russian (the most beautiful language in my opinion!), Greek, Chinese (either ...dialect...), Japanese, Maybe some Korean, and perfecting my French. I'm asctually trying to beat my french teacher, who speaks Chinese, French, English, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, German, Portugese, and Italian ^^ It's a bit of a friendly competition.

  • @ChibiHiruki Right now I'm working on Spanish, Japanese (I've already passed the JLPT 5 going for 4 this Dec.) and Russian. I will eventually add French and German to the list.

  • @tom123ek lol i speak French, English and Latin and i am learning German and Russian now

  • @greener144 since when is Latin a spoken language?

  • @vladikostek Ok i can read and speak the words but perhaps the pronunciation is off, as we have nothing to go on

  • @vladikostek Dude.. WTF!?

  • @vladikostek Since it is the official language of the Holy See

  • @greener144

How did you learn so many???

  • @hopeforfailer practice, a drive to learn them, and living in foreign countries.

  • @tom123ek We've got no need to talk to dirty turd worlders ;)

  • @tom123ek I attempt to learn everything i can especially languages.

  • @tom123ek lol

  • @tom123ek you better be american speaking that way

  • @tom123ek want to know why? cause we dont give a fuck you stupid piece of shit

  • @TheHighlanderGeneral People like you are the reason why the world hates us.

  • @tom123ek We already speak the language of power; the language that all must learn for success in this world - English. Next time capitalize the "m" in "most" and put a period at the end of the sentence.

  • @preemptivestrike20

-The language of power is French. That's where all your military terms come from.

-The most spoken language in the world is Mandarin, followed by Spanish (not English).

-The only reason we learn English is to go Disneyland.

-Your language is the result of Latin and French having sex with 600 other languages, and giving birth to what you called "The language of power - English."

-Your language is too mechanical, stale and insipid. You can't write good poems or lyrics in it.

  • @Whiteoverblue - France is not a superpower -America is the worlds only superpower (key point here) - You are speaking English because this is an American website - No one gives a shit about poems - You're Mexican, so your language was the result of Spaniards utterly dominating the indigenous people. - But I think we can both agree that Russian is a cool language.

  • @preemptivestrike20

-Indeed, but English isn't America's official language, as much of a superpower as it is.

-I'm speaking English because you speak English.

-Of course they don't! With a language stripped of life and colour, it's no surprise they don't give a shit about them! Even songs aren't regarded for their lyrics as much as they are for their tune.

    -That's right!

    -yes, I agree with you.

  • @Whiteoverblue //ww//translation directory//com/article722//

  • At 2:37 - And all around this place he speaks По-английски. But I, as a russian speaker, want to notice for you, dears: Don't forget to pronounce Й more clearly in words like this one. These speaker is a little bit short of Й. But you say such words in a proper way. По-англиЙски

  • @thatMikhail Thanks for the tip Mikhail! ;) From испанский, your language, Russian, seems complex, but I want to learnt it, no matter what!

  • Russian is such a cool sounding language :)

  • These programs are like $100 each, and you can get them for free here... If you want to learn conversational Russian, what more would you want.

  • @folklore2 free but one lesson only

  • @amazingdany Yes, but you can get it at libraries too. I like these programs, I did German, French, Italian (half of it) and can tell you that you learn how to pronounce the words correctly. It teaches a lot, but you'll have to suplement it with other programs to really be able to speak a language.

  • @moribas I got them off torrents... I'm currently learning Russian, German, Japanese, Portuguese with each lesson broke down in 10 minutes each day. That way you can learn multiple languages hehe! It takes 9 months to finish all three leveles of each but hey, multiple languages at once!

  • @amazingdany How did you break them down? Sometimes I have to interrupt a lesson and I have trouble going to the part I was when I resume listening. By the way, I speak Portuguese. I found Pimsleur Portuguese a bit too formal in the beginning. Here in Brazil we don't use "o Senhor" that much, in informal contexts, "você" is more likely.

  • @moribas Each lesson is around 30 minutes so as soon as it reaches 10 minutes, I stop and go on studying another 10 minutes odf another language!

So one lesson takes me 3 days, retention is a little bit better, but I still have trouble remembering many words and verbs, I know I won't be fluent once I finish all 90 lessons, but dammit Pimsleur is SO effective!

  • cuul :)
