The problem about Megaman 6 is that most of the themes are too neutral; too bland. There really aren't any memorable themes (except for Mr. X Stage), if someone were to play a MM6 song, I might say they all sound the same. Only maybe Tomahawkman since it sounds like there's horses marching.

Actually, Megaman 5 is my least favorite too (that or maybe 8), but I thought the music was a little more, I dunno, fitting to the stages, and therefore, recognizable. Take Starman, for instance. It's an average theme, but you can tell it's in space. Now, look at Plantman. I've actually recently grown to love it. It's pretty epic and cool, but it could be the theme to any stage.

I'd recommend buying Megaman Anniversary Collection for Gamecube or PS2, at least those are legal. Besides, playing with your keyboard is not nearly as fun as playing with a controller, that's how Megaman should be played.

I actually liked this game a lot. After MM4 and MM5, which didn't have anything special, I thought the additions in this game were pretty nice. I think only 2 and 3 were better among the original games. I just recently played this for the first time and I got a lot of fun out of it. The music is better than 5 and 7, at least.

i think they did a very bad job on the structure of the actual bosses, i mean seriously it seems like they were thinking of odd ways to make good sounding bosses look bad: flameman looks like he came outve aladin, blizzardman is a skier, knightman doesnt have a sword, and plantman goes without saying

Well the reason they made them that way was to make them represent the country they are from. Like Windman from China has a rice bowl on his head, the skier Blizzardman is from Canada where I guess are the most ideal places to ski, Flameman comes from Arabia, so it's natural that way, even though stereotypical.

As an idea it's great, and they pulled it off quite well except with Blizzard. He doesn't look like a fighting robot, at all.

Knightman is just perfect.

Personally I've learned to like this more and more over time. Still not my favorites, but not the worst anymore either.

The things I hate about this: Rush. Why did they ruin the idea of coil and jet by making them into Megaman's upgrades?

Secondly, the bosses seem to float rather than jump and it looks damn annoying. The battles aren't as fast-phased as for example in MM4.

The boss music is also a failure in my eyes...other than those there's not much to complain.

I actually like Tomahawk Man's theme, because it really captures that whole "western" feel.

I always loved how the MM6 masters were blatant stereotypes of the countries they came from. Knight Man - England, Blizzard Man - Canada, Yamato Man - Japan, Centaur Man - Greece, and so on.
