  • This song is a belter, takes me right back to my youth, but i cant find it anywhere, can someone help.

  • @paulhamerton

    Hello Paul,

In the meantime i got this Song. Thank you very much for your offer:.)

  • Great song and two brilliant artistes.

  • who wrote it?

  • I also saw this last night on an old Top of the Pops last night. Nice tune, however, the chorus vocals are too forced, over powering and schreechy. it was a live performance so all credit to them but I feel that being live let it down which is probably why it was never a hit.

  • @collinplace Not All of Northern soul was a hit thats why we love it :)

  • Saw this on TOTP on BBC4. Bloody awful.

  • Can't believe this only made it to number 43 in the charts! Great song! But then again the summer of 1976 was an epic time for music.

  • Do somebody Know if this amazing Song is available As mp3?

  • @Erebos29 Have tried to find it without success. However, if you download Realplayer you can then download this YT vid and from there convert the audio to mp3 using FoxTab video to mp3 converter which is a free to download converter program.

  • @Erebos29 ive got it on a cd if anyone wants it e-mailed get in touch

  • I love this song and dug out my old vinyl copy sadly scratched to death but still playable what a huge voice!!! I think number 43 was as high as it got but when you mention it to most people they say who? They don't know what they missed

  • bought this when it was No 43 in the charts how high did it go

  • fantastic song/voice reminds me of my teens love it

  • Ich zufällig das Lied in einer Wiedeholung einer alten TOTP Sendung gesehen und war sofort von dem Song und den supertollen Sängerinnen begeistert.

  • love the way alchemist flipped this - great song

  • Bella canzone..

    Ciao

  • One of very few elusive tracks that I'd love to find on the web. It just never get played on radio. Ah yes, memories . . .

  • Ths brilliant track was too early. Punk was beginning to wipe pop/glam off the map and disco didn't really hit until 77. Amazing vocalists both of them.

  • @markdelaney disco had been massive since 1974 and a look at any repeat of 1975/76 Top of the Pops will show the charts full of disco/funk and soul like no other time before or since

  • When was this first released? 1976?

  • For me, one of my favourite tracks of the seventies. Why, oh why is this not played on the radio anymore ? The vocals and melody are simply OUTSTANDING. Many thanks for sharing !

  • Gotta love my cousins !!....:-)))

  • One of the best songs I've heard and that's saying a lot as I'm right into heavy rock. It's always been a favourite of mine.

  • Ho rivisto i miei 15 anni......grazie grazie grazie

  • ....non la sentivo da millenni.....

  • Killer vocal-too bad the mix is so background forward

    Tboneman

  • Great stuff! I remember seeing them perform this on TV and being blown away. Dashed out to the record store the next day and bought it. That was me hooked. Try flipping Band of Gold and listen to the absolutely sublime Blue Jean Days. A vocal performance second to none.

  • Blue Jean Days is AB FAB - I have it as both the B-Side of "Band of Gold" + on their "First Flight" Album............
