@pinenutbutter usually new guitars get out of tune way easily and so there's one solution or you can try tuning it 2 half steps down or capo on 1st fret. You even could try checking the strings sometimes they are tricky

Great! Just a tip, you can play the intro of the song by playing : 3rd fret 2nd string...and play the rythm with the 3rd and 2nd strings
