  • I was rather surprised at John's remark re. Ray's good manners. I thought all kids back in those days said "Sir" and "Ma'am" and acted politely.

  • I was a flier in my teen years but I never left the ground physically, just mentally............:)

  • By today's standards, his polite manners and respect for adults are absolutely astonishing.

  • Tito was on this too!

  • I like the fact he says "Yes Mame" and Yes Sir. He is also wearing a suit. that tell s you lot right there!

  • @MadsNoble Yeah, kids just don't do that now...

  • psh... thats my dad :)

  • This is my cousin Raymond, a bad-ass flyer who practiced pre-season at my family's farm in NJ! People would stop on the side of the road to watch Ray and Uncle Ray fly.

  • omg...

    thats my uncle

    haha hes totaly different now...

  • who is this?

  • why did they call him master valentine before they even knew anything about him?

  • It is common to call any male under the age of 18 (or 21 in some cases) Master before the reach manhood then they can be called Mister.

  • That is correct derfla1977, although I used to resent it. I wanted to be called mister like all children trying to act grown up.

  • LOL... yea, it's the same guy. Our family is still in the business ;)

  • Judging from Ray Valentine photos on the web, I think that this is the same Ray Valentine. He has great manners, as well.
