I have been a long time fan of Hyadain for his Mega Man songs. I have become a fan of Final Fantasy, VI to be more specific, more recently. I have loved Terra's theme ever since I first heard it.

I didn't think it was possible.

@OhGodNo666 They did tweak the system a bit for the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV. I wouldn't mind a slight change to FFVI's system, if only to cut down on cheap tricks, but that's not a discussion for here. The work here, done by Hyadain (and Nobuo Uematsu), is breathtakingly beautiful.

mostly everyone on here is completley wrong, ff7 crushes ff6, ff6 was exactly like 1-5. no change, not revolutionary, didnt ushere in a new age of anything, plain old final fantasy 6...best rpg on snes was hands down (drum roll please) the mighty...CHRONO TRIGGER, easily and with NO argument is chrono trigger the king of snes rpg's, IT and it alone usherd in a new age of rpg's. then ff7 steps in with mgs at its side and shows the world how video games are done and made, fact and end of argument.

Terra is my favorite character hands down! Side note, did you know that Terra has more official artwork than any other Final Fantasy character in Final Fantasy history?? She has more than two dozen official pieces!

I wouldn't be suprised if 2012 is the year of the biggest changes in History. Square splits Enix away becoming the Great SquareSoft they once were.

Give us our FFV & FFVI remakes-3DS. Then FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX remakes for PS3, PSP.Once FFVII fans give up hope on a remake on the last minute Square will say "BTW we've been working on the remake of FFVII".

The game FFVII was green lit over a year ago for a REMAKE.I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. Maybe it could come out on PS4.

FF6 was probably the earliest game with mature storyline and "risque" subject like mass-murder, teen pregnancy, grief over dead loved ones and inter-species union (much more explicit told in the Japanese version, get a fan translation version instead).

My favorite FF6 in terms of storyline, also Kefka is the biggest asshole character that still really pisses me off.

Not Terra, in a town (forgot the name but the town where Terra lived and protect after the world destruction), there were two 16 year old who was in love. At the end credit, that girl is giving birth to symbolize a new beginning for this world that Terra and her friends just saved..

Yeah this is a pretty low-quality synthesizer - one of the vocal ones where you type in phonetic lyrics. Likely the Engrish is because the person who typed it doesn't know English so well or is translating from an original Japanese set of lyrics.

Actually, FF IX is my favorite of ff beause it's very solid, fun, and nostalgic and my first rpg experience. Then it's ff6 because it's so good and would over shadow ff9 if ff9 wasn't so nostalgic and cool.

Plus ff9 is better than most of the ff games because instead of everyone being able to do everything nd making choices hard, everyone has set moves, stats, and weapons that they themselves can use, makig them unique from all the other characters.

When Terra has her crown removed, it's comparatively similar to be born. She doesn't know who her parents were. Therefore, she doesn't have a strong identity, which would be disturbing for anyone.

FFVI set the bar, FFVII stole the thunder. Thats basically how it worked.

Personally, FFVII is my second or third favorite in the series, either being tied with or just under FFIV. Needless to say, I find FFVI my favorite.

FFVII stole the spotlight because it was the FIRST well-known rpg title in 3d. I keep telling to peeps who say "FFVII owns all" And if u ask them, they always say that was their first rpg experience, well for most peeps that is.

@NoAsking Agreed. FFVI brought an entire new age of RPG's along with it, and is the main reason Final Fantasy is what it is today. The older ones are great, but they are still less developed, as far as the genre goes. Personally, I haven't enjoyed any FF games after VI, except for IX, because it brought back a lot of stuff from the old games.

I think it's more of a bad grammar issue. My wife is native Japanese and even though she's lived in the states for over 6 years now, she still makes mistakes with the words life, live, living, alive, a life, etcetera so I think it's more of a widespread japanese misunderstanding of the use of these words and really doesn't have anything to do with the stereotypical R and L syndrome.
