  • i liked more what was in her bag :D

  • @ApplerApps ...... you poor thing

  • " i refuse to spend a lot on money" oh girl you're soooo not mainstream. just cut it out ok?

  • i like her she is one of the few people in the look book that doesn't act like a snooty douchebag

  • what fake shit ,poor thing

  • I think shes amazing, but i have to say i absolutely hate her bag, it's so cruel ):

  • so what if she's a hipster...who cares? wtf is a hipster, anyway? I like her style, it's unique and fun.

  • yeah right.......i especially love the part where she is like "you can see its eye ball" very funny!and so so hippie!FAKE BITCH

  • annoying, fake, attention whore. Hipster trash

  • fuckinng hipster faggots

  • it's nice that she is having fun but i prefer a more put together clean cut look like in The satorial. For instance, European(italy and france) fashion is amazing! You can wear things from the 70s and be more put together than this.

  • what a fucking hipster.

  • she looks shit!

  • like, like, um like, like like

  • She is sooooooo fake...it`s not her,you can see that it`s forced...

  • I think she's really got her own style. She can totally play with the fun colors and she has the view to put lots of impossible things together. Hippie is so gonna come back and rule the world again. You have to have the attitude and personality to rock hippie styles. Love the look on her and i was so inspired!

  • @heatherzhy Dude, "hippie" can't just come back and rule the world based on what you wear. It's a way of life, a different perception on the mainstream ideas of how to live that are ingrained in our brains, the rejection of conventional social norms. People today who wear a trendy peace sign on their shirt and a clip-on feather in their hair cannot be called or call themselves "hippie", they are simply posers. It's not just the attitude and personality, it's the beliefs of the individual.

  • that girl stupid that bag is not hippie.......babosa....!!!!! los animales no es nada hippy

  • she looks like shit.

  • she's a smart girl, people spend huge amounts of money in clothes...we should be more imaginative.

  • I love her

  • LIKE.. LIKE.. LIKE:.. you LOOK LIKE.. and LIKE.. TALK LIKE.. LIKE.. KIRSTEN DUNST.. LIKE.. YOU.. KNOW?

    ... urban hippies.

  • great a hippie with money..

  • the word cooties comes to mind.....

  • i think she's needs colour coordination101...the rainbow...only looks good in the sky

  • Not even color coordination 101...she just needs to take ONE basic art class to know what colors work well with each other.

  • @tulipsxw2

whats so uncoordinated about moss green and mustard yellow?

  • fuck lookbook

  • I absolutely adored watching her. She seemed very charming, innocent and cute. Its great to have such confidence to wear what you want and not feel the need to wear designer labels from head to toe. She is a cool cat!!

  • Yeah, WHAT a hippie wearing fur.

  • I like hippie fashion,I wear it myself,but her bag was kinda...eww?!

  • "People say I'm a photocopy of my mum"...

    how sad is that?

  • lmao

  • i like her style - its cool

accept for that bag - omg - it's creepy.

  • i don't really put myself into any catagories, but i am very fond of the hippie culture and life style. i dress in whatever is most comfortable. i liked her outfit. go to san francisco and you will find the real hippies on hippie hill, there are still a few old hippies left!

  • She is a hipSTER.

How come everyone profile in these NY Mag style videos like to freakin brag that they don't spend a lot of money on clothes.

  • @lllori Because it's possible to be stylish without going broke. I find that having a personal style is all about the find. when you find something that's brillant and it fits you well; it's worth the hunt. On a side note: I don't think they are bragging, just answering the questions the interviewer is giving.

  • @lllori NY is a fantasy world where people live in a bubble and are totally unaware of the rest of the world. I lived there for 20 years.

  • @lllori yea pretty much everybody on the look book fits some category of hipster

  • @lllori By the looks of it, she didn't. Honestly, if she had spent loads of money on that, I would have askes for my money back!

  • @lllori because clothes in new york are expensive as fuck and if you can find a good deal id be damn proud of it too

  • @lllori because people can't afford designer labels in the RECESSION....so they show that people can fit into current styles by thrifting.

Thriftstores really are a goldmine for amazing vintage clothing and current styles for an amazing bargain.

  • awwh she was cute!

  • That bag is fucking vile.

  • I'm not so hung up w/ the fact she calls herself a "Hippie" I am just amazed that Ney York Magazine would stop this girl on the street.

Her outfit is not at all that interesting. I see girls walking around Minneapoolis dressed like this on a daily basis.

We just happen to be in a "Boho Hippie" fashion cycle right now...this girl will be on to something else in a matter of months.

  • i agree. midwesterners have been dressing like that since forever (wisconsin, woot woo. you stole our brett farve, haha) . because its a cheap and stylish way to go. we don't go running around spending $100's of dollars to get that style. scene-ster is what she is.

  • I love her she so much fun

  • this style is cool like dey say history will repeat it self

  • no, ddk982 you're right.

and yea, "hippie" should not be a fashion statement, it's a lifestyle.

  • hipster

  • i liked her style, people need to relax.. everyone has their own style.

  • i like the way she dresses. and i like the idea of not having to spend too much money on clothes to make an outfit.

  • adorable.

  • she doesen't look like a hippie, i think she has an interesting style.

  • seriously being a hippie isnt a fashion style is a lifestyle

  • weird

  • u ppl are taking this girl too seriously.

i don't think she's calling herself and her

lifestyle "hippie". it's just the way she

dresses. as you can see, she's very, very young.

probably a phase. i went through a ton of fashion phases.

  • oh jesus, shut up

  • OMG I need a new piece of gum!

  • wut the fuck shutup

  • I hope you wrote that filth to eveyone on this page

  • she just rummages through junk and thinks they're good, but they're not, and gets away with wearing them because people consider her a "hippie"

she's not a hippie, hippie is a lifestyle and a culture, not just a type of fashion

  • i don't want to go to NY city now.

  • like, I don't like, like to spend money on clothes like, so I like bought all these clothes like, ya know?

  • Look here folks - take it from an old hippie. That cute blondie is not one and would be acosted on just about any bus... ok? You are confusing the mindset with the look. The look is coming back but the mindset has been gone for a long time and REALLY folks...it died for a reason. Once someone figures out the plan to a better and more fullfilling lifestyle that is in unison with the cosmos...some other hippies has a slightly differnt take on unison. Then the war of the hippies begins. Peace baby!

  • I was a child that lived on haight and oak one block from from ashbury. My mother as well as my Aunts were Hippies. And I was referred to as a Flower Child. And I know from experience that there is no such thing as Hippies any Longer. It was a movement and Ideology to not only protest war but to protest against following normalities in Life. This was a good movement in its day and provided multitudes of advances in the world. But it also caused great despair to a great number also.

  • Being a hippie is a lifestyle, not something you go out and buy to try and LOOK like one. I don't know that many hippies that brag about not spending money on their clothes, but yet have a starbuck's coffee in their hand. STOP GIVING HIPPIES BAD NAMES.

  • Aaaaattteennnntttiiiiioooonnnnnnn.

  • Is this for serious?

  • This girl is trying way too hard, it's no longer charming at that point.

  • Interesting
