I can't see the Temple being rebuilt while the Beast is not visible to the whole world. And what if the Beast doesn't want to sit in the new Temple?

I always thought it funny how people can read through the entire books of Daniel and Revelation and understand it as a direct prophecy, but when Jesus says "this is my body this is my blood" (sarcasm) now he is speaking figuratively.

In 70 AD They were dispersed out of the land after the Romans destroyed the temple in Jerusalem. The six day war in 1967 Israelis captured Judea, Samaria, and east Jerusalem. Palestinians are simply Arabs, Philistines, and other immigrants who occupied Israel when Rome displaced the Israelites. God Forbids Israel to give up any portion of land that He gave to them. Just look at history.

@shelbayehfood I was talking about God's promised land to the Jewish nation in the Torah. God did promise Abraham that they would inherit it. I'm not sure if Palestine was part of that land. That's why they want it if it is part of that promised land. If it was part of the promised land by God, and God is real then it wouldn't be stealing because it was given to them by God. It would be the other way around and the nation occupying it now are actually the thieves. This is Just a thought though.

I certainly believe this. Jesus mentiones when Israel is surrounded, when Jerusalem is being taken, when the temple is being destroyed, He will return and a new temple will be built. There is no need to rebuild this temple. I could believe God allows the false judaism (islam) to stay on that rock for even that is better than a rebuilt temple. Of course, I can understand those Jews who reject Christ want to build a new temple so they can practice unworthy sacrifice for sins. What is mind-boggling is that any Christian would support, encourage or condone rebuilding the temple. They know it is no longer necessary but they want to applaud such a thing?

Why do not the palestinians move away to these countries proclaiming being muslim. Look at the arab countries how many space they have and how wealthy they are. Reading it is one of numerous reasons why I stopped believing in it all, years ago. Much of the bible is pagan and Zoroastrian Babylonian in origin, not to mention the origins of god as a thunder deity from a pantheon of Israelite gods, from before monotheism was embraced. @shelbayehfood WRONG....there were Greek & latin , not to mention other languages being spoken by other people in & around Jerusalem and of course surrounding cities & towns. Jesus himself spoke aramaic, latin & Greek and a lot of his followers/disciples also spoke more than one language including Paul so just because scripture was translaed into a specific language doesn't mean it should be built in that city. The book of Revelation says it will be rebuilt in Jerusalem.

Joseph Smith didn't break the law, but was falsely implicated and released, tho, he was wrongfully held on several occassions behind bars. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God.

Mohammed does not follow the same beliefs that Abraham had. The angel that met Mohammed was a false angel, and did NOT come in the name of the LORD, but instead lied to Mohammed.

@shelbayehfood I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that he got answers directly by revelations like the real prophets Isaiah, Ezekiel, and others, and they testified of the divine origin of Jesus Christ.
Mohammed got all his information from an angel of Light, and was decieved. The Quran is not the word of God, but a distortion.
Read the book of Mormon, because it is the word of God, and came from God, and not from an "angel of light."

I always thought it funny how people can read through the entire books of Daniel and Revelation and understand it as a direct prophecy, but when Jesus says "this is my body this is my blood" (sarcasm) now he is speaking figuratively.
Or how this entire chain of fantastic supernatural, yet physical, events need to come to pass for the end of days, but when Peter says, "baptism now saves you," that's a completely spiritual thing.

@pgfracing Revelation I believe. He is also called the abomination of desolation. The antichrist shall sit in the new temple proclaiming himself to be God. This will be the third temple built. After its destroyed God will be in the 4th & final temple for all eternity. We as christians are the temple of the Holy Ghost.
