Drum player's performance is out of this world, only he doesn't appear one single time on a dedicated full shot ... those imbeciles wasted so many shots showing that faggot "directing" the orchestra .....

Gino's writing, arranging, and obvious orchestration is just brilliant!

Did anyone catch the conga percussionist look at the other musicians - and give the nod -"don't know where this is going?"

Then the piece rocks on - this is another Gino killer production.

He's such a brilliant cat - always under control.

So professional - I'm sure the musicians left the days work remembering that session!

@insaneguitarfreak Yeah, he has a website ... it's under construction but still has quite a bit of info up: ... he's a session guitarist from Holland, so you have to dig a little for his stuff, but well worth it. I met him at a guitar "Master Class" in London, and started following him after I learned he had played with Gino, (who is my mentor). Awesome style and sound.

He is originally a drummer, but also plays guitar, piano, precussion, bass, and sings (obviously), is a master at production and sound recording, is one of the greatest lyricists in the last 100 years, an amazing arranger, songwriter of the highest order, and has never compromised his art for the sake of fame or monetary gain. Those in the industry who really know what they're talking about, know the genius of Gino Vannelli. He is also a follower of my favorite, Walt Whitman that seals it

... and Herb Alpert gave them a listen and recorded "Crazy Life" ... a short time later they were on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert, (a late Sat nite TV show in the 70's) playing "Powerful People" and I was hooked ... there has never been anyone like him, and there never will be. To have a completely unique sound in this day and age, woven from every style and influence known, is nothing short of genius, and that's Gino. He is the Mozart of our generation, and it's a shame that he isn't more well

My favorite version of Brother To Brother (I have this DVD ... took a while to find it, but well worth it) ... Peter's solo is just amazing ... gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it. Too bad the intro is missing from this cut, but the sound is good. If you can find this DVD, BUY IT! You will NOT be disappointed. Gino is by far the largest musical influence in my life and has been since I was just starting to play guitar, when he and Joe were trying to make it on the West Coast ...
