  • Boy, you really hear some very strong Mahler influences here (in the pacing of the music, how he approaches the tonic at :39, the sparing orchestration). A very fitting tribute to late Romanticism and Mahler! Wonderful music! Thank-you master Berg! As much as I like all of Berg's work, I am most partial to his earlier peices, and this work REALLY stands out. Great posting!!
