Can anyone explain the "ghostly" image of a human face that appears periodically in the shadow of the LEM throughout this footage?

In some postings of this sequence, the image is even clearer, and appears to be a man with glasses in a white lab coat. Is it possibly something that accidentally got imprinted on the footage in processing at the lab?

Not to get this hoax thing going again, but seems to me the astronaut is in the shadow of the lunar lander. Ok. Then as he moves out he is still in the shadow - that's on the surface BUT the sun is now hitting him and NOT the surface. Thus he is bright in the shadow.

Everyone is assuming they know the suns angle and where the light is coming from. How many have been to the moon? Please raise hands.

I believe we landed on the moon, but he is still so bright in that shadow and the rock shadows are going in all different directions, just like the hoaxers constantly are pointing out, so I'm not sure why anyone thinks this would change their minds...

At 3:06 Armstrong says the LM footpads are depressed into the surface dust only 1-2 inches and that the dust is fine and powdery.

However, he says no crater was formed! And no high rim of dust around the LM is seen in the footage.

The descent engine exhaust that's holding up the 2 ton LM would have blown away the fine, powdery dust down to the bed-rock!

Sorry, but 2 inches of fine dust, but no dust crater is a discrepancy that's just not believable!

Apollo is as fake as a $3 dollar note!

Also, the LM's engine exhaust nozzle is in the craft's centre with the outside foot-pads surrounding it. In the engines dying moments hovering above the 2 inch fine-dust-layered landing site, some dust would have settled on the foot-pads.

And yet, looking at the hi-res still photos, no layer of fine, powdery dust is seen on the gleaming, perfectly clean, immaculate foot-pads!

Yet further proof that Project Apollo was:-

I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty possitive that they didn't use descent engines very close to the moons surface. They would have made calculations and slowed their descent far enough above the surface so they could gently float down eventually having to use little or no more thrust. They tried to avoid making a crater because they wanted to eliminate as many possible problems as possible, and I guess they succeded.

That's a lovely story, ohspareme. I was four years old, and I think I can just remember being allowed to stay up to watch it on TV, although at that age I didn't fully appreciate the significance of it of course.
