I'm getting a HP 6735s delivered tomorrow. It was free with a mobile broadband package. It's a nice change from the 7 year old emachines desktop I'm using now. It's got WiFi, Bluetooth, Vista Premium. I know HP are an awesome manufacturer so I can't wait for it. Cool vid.

i would get another 3 cell battery for this laptop instead of a single 6 cell because little bit more weight makes all the different when u carry it around. I had a samsung with a 6 cell and that extra weight got annoying when i carry it around. So its better to have a lighter netbook with two 3 cell than one 6 cell.

I got one of these two days ago. I had to return the first two I got. Number one had dead pixels out of the box and number 2 had a dead usb drive. I think I'm holding this up to my poor luck though. The third one I got is wonderful. I had no problems exchanging the busted ones, BTW. Nice computer..

I got mine. I does have an ethernet port! Somehow I got the idea that this was going to be WiFi only.

So far it's awsome. Put Visual Studio on it and Maya and they run pretty fast. I upgraded the ram to 2GB like in your other vid. Been playing a little Counter Strike on it. Great machine,

OK, checked out your vid again. I think you probably do have an ethernet port. See the rubber cover on the right side of the Headphone/Mic jack? The thernet port is right under there. :-)

Strange that it doesn't have a 'Logo' like all the other ports.

@iobuffa the 1035nr should have an ethernet port hidden under a rubber flap. when it is facing you it should be on the left side close to the front. i saw it on the video and my sister has one.

Fixed the keyboard wavyness. The two screws inside the battery compartment holds the keyboard in and when you unscrew them the keyboard sits flat. So I added two tiny 1mm thick pads under the keyboard near both screw areas. Snugged up the screws its almost perfect. The keyboard looked like this

Left side ----___---- right side. Center Sunk in more so Next to the B + N keys. One screw mount is right under those keys. Its still a hair higher on the HDD side Right Up, but It looks good now.

Just purchaced a HP mini 1030nr bbuy and I must say, Disappointment. Keyboard is wavy, Keyboard hits LCD when closed, Ram door cover missing one lock. Box was sealed, CPU was sealed in plastic. WOW very cheap feeling. Own a Asus EEE and its built like a tank. Sorry HP -- So far NOT Happy. One hour OLD :(

HP support sending me a new memory door. About the keyboard wavy, Im gonna find Some rubber feet to stick on the lid to keep the lcd off the keys. If You dont, it will leave marks over time. Expensive Netbook thats feels thrown together..

AH!! The Function key being to the right of the CTRL key is not a design flaw!

Oh man that's what I hate about my laptop. The CTRL key should be the farthest left key on the bottom IMHO, just like on a regular keyboard.

I'm always hitting the FN (function) key when touch typing when I meant to hit CTRL then everything gets screwed up.

That's pretty cool. I think I will get one of these now just for having that. Love the review.

It was 2 hours with everything on full blast. I need to do some tests with more reasonable settings (lower brightness, turn off bluetooth, turn off screen after 10 minutes, etc) I'll probably get the rated 3 hours when I do that.
