Just to add to the comment, if you notice one of my video topics I posted I never hardly stutter that's because I was alone and relaxed and filmed myself prior to posting it. You'd have to see me on the phone or around someone that makes me nervous to see how bad I stutter. You speak very well compared to me. On top of it I have other physiological issues. I have moments where I can't even say Hello to answer the phone, I slobber when I talk although I don't anymore in public but I do alone. Theres a girl in my debate class that stutters, that has won more speech and debate compititions then any other kid in my school, so please people grow up.
@flsimx Wow, very good for your classmate. :) Obviously stuttering and public speaking can go together (quite contrary to what many people tend to feel at first about those who stutter.) Hopefully she will continue to win competitions and tear down stereotypes. I wasn't a public speaker type in high school but only because my school had no debate class, club or anything else of that kind.

I stutter too! It can be embarrassing sometimes. I'll even laugh at myself when I do it. Someone said they don't mind it because it makes me unique. I used to be bullied in school because of it but was scared to tell people.
@Volectorus whoa, terribly sorry for replying soooo late. I thought I had before, but now I see not so. :( I do make typos in a keyboard of course, but everyone does that. I'm not sure if I type worse than most people or not. I don't think typing is a problem though. I do it the same way as anyone else would and I can hit the keys as I think of words, so to type doesn't seem to result in the same basic issue that speaking does. (lol, hopefully that makes sense.)

I know what from experience what it's like to stutter. I've been making vlogs online showing people how bad my stutter can get. I have a really bad chronic stutter where it can go off on any letter of the alphabet. It's hard for me to socialize with others when I can barely talk to them or even strike a good conversation. When ever a good conversation does come along, I can't even talk because my stutter/stammer prevents me from doing so. You're not alone.
Finally someone who understands.People say i'm quiet & dont talk.Well because i have a little stuttering problem. . .i lost 1 of my friends becuz she made fun of my stuttering
some teens get on here are jerks and look for some thing like these videos and make fun of others who are different because they are insurcure about them selves. if you were like us, you would know what its like and wouldnt torture us with words. You clearly have intelligent stuff to talk about and after awhile the subject at hand becomes much more important and in fact I think your stutter just becomes part of who you are. I'm 16, I stutter, its really affected me trying to find a job, not only is it hard enough in the horrible economy, but I have stuttering on top of that, calling to follow up is a challenge, as well as interviews, and asking if they're hiring.
Hey all. Check out HCRI if you stutter. I did and it helped me out. HCRI is a program and it is not covered by insurance, but it is totally worth the money. It basically CURES stuttering.
@ig88sir yeah. it helped me totally. completely fluent. but you have to be willing to work. practice 2-3 20 minute sessions everyday. $6,000 is a low price for having good speech.
