Im a Christian and we pray like this as well on occasion. There are a lot of different positions Hands in the air, prostrate, laying flat on the stomach,or back. There are a lot of prayer stances some of the churches I used to go to didn't really do that, but the one I go to now does a lot. Actually I wanted to ask does Allah talk back to Muslims after or when they pray?
@Ca1iGurl31 Yes, Allah does respond to our prayers. When a Muslim is praying, he is basically talking to Allah in his prayers, and Allah also talks back to him, we don't hear him but he does talk back. Allah loves his followers and he always watches over them.
@Ca1iGurl31 Have you heard of Istikhara? it's a method by which a Muslim can ask Allah for advice. Like if there's a difficulty in his life and he doesn't know what decision to make and he wants to ask Allah directly and get the direct, he performs Istikhara and than in a period of just 3 days Allah tells the person what he asked for by showing him what's right in that person's dreams. So basically in a way, Allah connects to us.

@Ca1iGurl31 Istikhara isn't that hard. All you have to do it is that After Isha prayer you have to perform two extra Nafils as Istikhara. And then there's a dua (prayer) you read and after that you do not talk to anyone and directly to go bed. And then in your dreams Allah shows you the correct answer in the form of some specific signs which you have to be keen to understand. If not on the first day, then second, if not on the second, then third. The period is of 3 days only.

All religions pray to one God, but in different ways and by different names. And yes, in each of the 5 daily prayers we perform the same actions and say the same words. Personally I think Allah used to be the same God but he has been switched with another. No offensive, but with us God is switched out daily. Which means that Jesus is the body of God, God is the Soul, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. The thing is, in christianity, the actual position of prayer is not what is important, it is the sincerity of a prayer to God....Jesus said "Go to your room and prayer in private where God see's you". A lot of these verses you pick out are just vague and all over the place, you can't combine all of them and say "this is how everyone prayed in the OT everytime!" Because there is nothing, and i repeat, nothing in the OT that mentions about praying 5 times a day in accordance to the sun

@mosporter There are more texts than just the bible to prove that Jesus was crucified and brutally beaten more than any normal man could withstand and some of them are secular texts and also does it not make sense that God would send his son to save his creation from eternal pain and suffering? Im a Christian and we pray like this as well on occasion. There are a lot of different positions Hands in the air, prostrate, laying flat on the stomach,or back. There are a lot of prayer stances some of the churches I used to go to didn't really do that, but the one I go to now does a lot. Actually I wanted to ask does Allah talk back to Muslims after or when they pray?

@Ca1iGurl31 Yes, Allah does respond to our prayers. When a Muslim is praying, he is basically talking to Allah in his prayers, and Allah also talks back to him, we don't hear him but he does talk back. Allah loves his followers and he always watches over them.

@Ca1iGurl31 Have you heard of Istikhara? it's a method by which a Muslim can ask Allah for advice. Like if there's a difficulty in his life and he doesn't know what decision to make and he wants to ask Allah directly and get the direct, he performs Istikhara and than in a period of just 3 days Allah tells the person what he asked for by showing him what's right in that person's dreams. So basically in a way, Allah connects to us.

@Ca1iGurl31 Istikhara isn't that hard. All you have to do it is that After Isha prayer you have to perform two extra Nafils as Istikhara. And then there's a dua (prayer) you read and after that you do not talk to anyone and directly to go bed. And then in your dreams Allah shows you the correct answer in the form of some specific signs which you have to be keen to understand. If not on the first day, then second, if not on the second, then third. The period is of 3 days only.

All religions pray to one God, but in different ways and by different names. And yes, in each of the 5 daily prayers we perform the same actions and say the same words. And then after prayer we ask Allah of whatever we want/need.

Personally I think Allah used to be the same God but he has been switched with another. No offensive, but with us God is switched out daily. Which means that Jesus is the body of God, God is the Soul, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. Even though each part is God, Jesus can not say that he is the Soul of God because he is the body. So my body can say I am Cali, but my body can not say I am Cali's soul. The thing is, in christianity, the actual position of prayer is not what is important, it is the sincerity of a prayer to God....Jesus said "Go to your room and prayer in private where God see's you". A lot of these verses you pick out are just vague and all over the place, you can't combine all of them and say "this is how everyone prayed in the OT everytime!" "Allah" has never been the God of the Jews or the Christians, but rather a pagan idol that is not to be worshipped, nor submitted to. To make this confession (the Shahada) is to deny Jesus Christ the Lord, who is the God of Israel that spoke to Moses in the burning bush! We Christians do not worship 3 Gods, I worship the God of Abraham! - But i believe in the trinity, Father, son and holy spirit ALL ARE ONE! - and they all have different purposes, when i pray i never see them as 3 Gods the thought of that is blasphemous in itself!
Yeshua Christ said in john 10:30 I and my father are one, and John 38 it later states "that the father is in me, and i in him" - ONE GOD.

@jahur101 Also think of the trinity as of the elements of water...Ice,water,steam = all the same, but in different forms, this is also similar to the trinity father,son and holy ghost/spirit - Son (Christ) was sent down and was lowered to our sinful level, yet he didnt sin, so God (father) wouldn't destroy us - because of our sin, and the wages of sin is death (romans 6:23) - Christ came as a sacrifice (jews used to do animal sacrifices) well Christ came as the FINAL sacrifices for our sins.
