@TheEEStudent don't underestimate them. The technology gap is getting narrow. They are advancing faster since after reverse engineering they are using evolutionary designs to improve upon the original platforms instead of expensive revolutionary and untested ideas like in the US. Both are equally effective as long as they have anti radar coatings and state-of-the-art electronics.

However, the Iranis might have sunburns - which could be real threats. Only they don't show them on YouTube. They are not made in Iran, of course - these come from Russia. Just like the Exocet shown here, came from France.

@TheEEStudent Where the hell do you get your information??? The NASR 1 is NOT an Exocet missile! It is domestically designed and manufactured by the Iranians. Yes the Sunburn is of Russian origin, and the Noor is a domestically produced C-802 (China) missile. I don't see the Pentagon or the DOD underestimating Iran's capabilities, so laymen should abstain from making baseless speculations.

@TheEEStudent How many shapes can an anti ship cruise missile have? Yes they look similar but it is NOT an Exocet. Fact is, even when the Shah was in power, Iranian forces didn't have the Exocet inspite of having French made warplanes in their arsenal. And after the Islamic Revolution, came the arms embargo so that killed any chance of Iran getting it. The NASR-1 is said to be modeled after the Chinese TL-6 along with Iranian innovations like electric optical terminal target acquisition. End.

Now also google AGM-112 (or GBU-15) and search a clip about "Qassed" and then also google "ZU-23 SCHILKA" and then watch a clip about "Iran new AA gun".
