Just curious what halfway for your sound system is. I've been playing this at a thirty on my system and I can hear it on all three floors of my house bellowing from way down in the basement. Great sound

i don't get the 2 part blue ray does this mean that u have to switch discs in the middle of the movie can someone explain

@mrrocks3578 Yes the movies are split in two (each one), so halfway through you need to switch discs. It's not a terrible thing though. For example RotK extended is over 4 hours long, so that means around 2 hours for each disc. Besides, if it was on one disc for each movie, the quality would likely be greatly reduced.

Well in Vancouver the future shops still hold quite a lot, so I can't imagine they'd be few to none out there, although the price has gone up again since it was only that cheap for Christmas and boxing day.

the blu ray disc have 50gb of memory the movies each one only have like 7.5 gb, i understand what you mean about letting have space but come on 50gb of space is pretty enough.

I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE THESE MOVIES. I live in Mexico City and national versions of this trilogy won't come out until two more weeks or so, by then, they will cost 40 dollars more than in the U.S., they won't come out with the digital copy codes (because of piracy I guess), so I ordered it in Amazon that even with the international shipment charge (and time) it's still cheaper! And all these makes me think how unfair it is for people like me to enjoy quality stuff like this trilogy. I NEED IT!!

I am so glad you did this review, ive had this in my blockbuster basket for a few days now but i just wanted to make sure it was up to scratch, I couldn't blow £50 on a blu ray after the theatrical releases, and to make sure its your videos i rely on because i agree with your movie tastes and anything ive bought after watching one of your reviews has been excellent (if the review was that is :P) thanks for the review!

Am I the only one who thinks the most important aspect of a Blu-Ray release is whether the frames were scanned at 4K?

i hate how everone is complaning about how amaerica got black bluray case's i really injoy the why they look so i dont know why people have to complan about bullshit.the only thing i would say that kinda sucks is the extras are not in HD its just the movies that are in HD so whe it comes down to that still i think this set is worth the buy because really its the movies that we go for thats all for me really nice review buddy.

Warner Bros. and other companies should start using 100GB blu-ray dics now instead of the 50 GBs. They could have stored the entire movie on one disc and not risk compromising the picture and sound quality, but that's just my two cents.
