i love pete, and the libertines and babyshambles, but this has to be one of the worst songs he has ever recorded. it just sounds like he's off his head, wich he probably was.
He sang this last time he did a gig in Liverpool, I couldn't believe it. I was made up especially as it is so rare. New Brighton used to be the place in the day xx
@janietunstall No he's talking about a day out in New Brighton with his family. His mum is from Liverpool and New Brighton used to be the place for a day out. Peter loves Liverpool and spent many years staying with family when he was younger. So he does not find the scouse accent traumatic at all. He loves coming back to Liverpool to do gigs and we love him.......
