  • Yes.

  • what battries??? cuz i have 1 and i use venom 7 cell 8.4 volts 5000 mah battries there nice :)

  • Trinity 6-cell 4200mAh packs.

I don't recommend Venom packs because they don't last long and are far too expensive.

  • k but i got my battries with a great deal of 130 bucks car and battries :) no charger....

  • dude ur vid the best plz make more

  • Sorry I don't have any more R/Cs...sold em all.

  • Great vid of showing performance of stock emaxx!

so should i get 5000mah batteries for long run times

they clame that they last 90 mins

  • u killed the motor i saw a little smoke at the end if were u tund off the camera

  • When are you talking about? Because I most-certainly didn't kill the motor.

  • is it 4wd or 2wd love your vids!!!!!!!!!! how much did it all cost you stock no battery and stuffs?

  • Man, for 6 cells, that's pretty fast. Very fast, much faster than I expected.

  • Yeah, its a torquey and quick truck if you take care of it.

  • what brand and what mah and what cell of batteries are you running?

    thanks

  • Trinity 4200mAh 6-cell shotgun packs.

  • oic, thanks, im gonna run Tenergy 4200 mah 8.4 7 cells

  • wish i could clean my t-maxx like that did it still work good after that clenin

  • weird i have a xmod and a emaxx 3905

  • How's that weird?

  • luv ur vid make more

  • Will do, thanks.

  • great video! that looks like a blast, is it stock? seems really fast!

  • Sure-is stock.

    Very fun truck.

  • That's quite a bit...Looks like I'll be saving up a while. What would you recommend for batteries?

  • Forget 7 cell, just get 6-cells...and I find that soldering the TRX connector is nearly impossible without damaging it in some way...big pain in the ass.

Get anything that has OK-good cells...preferably 4000mAh (I get great run times, I spent forty minutes making this video).

    Good luck.

  • Awesome run time! One question tho do you get 40 minutes run time or did you ever turn it off in between thanks

  • 40 minutes straight. ;)

  • right now my friend runs two Venom 6 cell 3600's i think and he doesn't get more than maybe 10 minutes full speed, 15 until dead. I gotta get him to get some new ones. He was thinking 5000 mah that would be a huge improvement. im gonna tell him to get them

  • No worries on the multiple comments, I deleted them.

Many people will agree with me that Venom cells aren't very good. They aren't good at all, honestly...but I haven't used one of their packs in over a year or two.

5000mAh would be very nice...but he's probably running them down just because he's running it on his driveway (flat asphalt/concrete) or because its too cold out right now.

I'm sure his truck will heat up this summer, though.

    Good luck!

  • I would love one of those things. What was the price when you bought it?

  • Hey Classic.

I got mine for $409 (for Christmas) from my HobbyTownUSA, but you can get them off Tower for $369 (I figure with shipping, its the same price).

$140 for batteries...so prepare yourself to spend a lot on some good cells or forget good performance. ;)

  • hey just wondering if u had to cover the electrical connection between the batteries and the speed control? also do the connections between the motor and spped control get effected at all?

  • Everything you see is a stock truck just hooked up to batteries. ;)

Only thing: I rusted up a lot of my parts from rainwater; Traxxas told me that separate actions must be taken to waterproof the metal.

The only issue besides rust is that I still have some water in my batteries (STILL)...but that hasn't caused any problems. I would suggest poking holes in the heatshrink.

  • Use an air compressor with jet nozzal to help clean faster. Eye protection is recomended.

  • That's what Traxxas told me.

I actually accumulated a lot of rust on the truck and spent five hours cleaning it.

  • Great vid !

At the end of the video you clean all the electronics directly with the garden-hose !!!

Is that the standard way of cleaning the E-maxx ??

I now it's build more waterproff than the old E-maxx, but will it not mess up the electronics ??

  • It is completely fine. ;)

I just took the batteries out and sprayed it with my hose...

ALTHOUGH...make sure you make the metal pieces on your truck are maintained to be waterproof. Spray some WD-40 on them...because I didn't do anything about it; I had to spend five hours (literally) cleaning it.

  • Ok.. Thanks for reply :-)

  • Is this e-maxx 100% stock

And what Batteries do you running. ?

  • It's completely stock. ;)

    I'm using Trinity 4200mAh 6-cell batteries.

  • Thanks .

  • NICE VIDEO.. MORE BUCKETHEAD!!!!!!!

  • Sure thing; thanks. :D

  • Love the editing and commentary. Lol. Nice work, Junk. Cool truck to boot.

  • Haha nice!
