@TamasPal777 , Thanks for the name- I love that tune- the music on the original score is extremely annoying after a while- a sort of circus- or threepenny opera inspired rag that plays over and over through the film- hence my decision to replace most of the music with other more interesting things...

One of my all-time favorite books, and the film is just as great, of course; actually following the story perfectly (which is typically quite rare). It's amazing how many people are so unfamiliar with it, which I suppose is understandable to a certain degree, considering how obscure it is (although can now be purchased on DVD).

well..thank you VERY much for putting this on youtube. i havent been able to find this in region 2. ..hesse was my first step into literature..soaked the books up, let the man in...and now(at 44)..much like yourself, some years later understand them with new eyes... thanks for you honesty, i hope there will be a new horizon for you, keep riding!
