Yesterday I got a Blue Hpi MT2 G3.0 , unfortunately i didnt run it yet

also have u checked your crystals! make sure there in properly or u could buy some more if tht still doesnt work take it bak like i sed!

(but keep the new crystals tht u bought as spare, there always useful)

somone help me out please ive got an mt2 g3.0 and theres somthing wrong with the radio/receiver its got bran new baterries and i keep getting bad interferance and losing control ive got a failsafe on. its doing my head in proper

i was going to get this hpi g3.0 but i heard it had lots of problems so i got the hpi 18ss+ its been great i use 16% because the richer the less time ur engine lasts it runs perfect

I got one of these. It runs great my problem is stopping, for some reason the brakes arn't working like they are supposed to. Can anyone here tell me what i'm doing wrong.

first its not rear wheel drive i have one its 4 wheel u can tell other wise it would be spitting a bunch of dirt out of the back

and for anyone that truck is amzing after break in but the turing u have to upgrade it with a high torque servo

man i really want to know does this truck seem pretty good? im about to buy one, i want to get an opinion from someone who owns one, right now i have a rc10gt2, it kicks ass, but only rear wheel drive. rated 5/5

this is a hpi mt2 g3.0 as you see and it's rear wheel drived. You cant go backwards like the most of the gasoline cars. But the problem is. It's riding on methanol(nitro) quite expensive, i just had a bill of 40 euro's(thats like 45 dollars) and thats for 10 liters. I'm buying a 4.6 motor atm. I will make a new vid then

go 4 an 18ss+ these have 2 many problems and the 18ss+ is faster more powerful and stronger

You can easily get option parts which the 18SS has for the g3.0, thats what I did.

yeah, you can even fit the 2 speed for the 18 ss engine on the g3.0 engine. the 18SS engine is also 3.01cc same as g3.0

and it might be faster but if you use right pinion and spur gear with the g3.0 i'm sure you can outrun the 18SS easy.

dude check the website of hpi.

the 18 ss engine has 1.5 hp

the g3.0 has 2.17 hp

so it aint more powerfull.

if you say yours had to much trouble you didnt followed the maintenance prescription.

follow that hand ur engine will do just fine...

how do i know? i got myself 2 cars with G3.0 engine. never broke down or anything.......

+ the 2 speed transmission you can get for the mt2 even fits on the g3.0 engine (dont use off-road though, its kinda bad for gears and clutch then)

i ment it is faster than the g3.0 not more powerful sorry and the problems were my fault because of coming of the side of a ramp and hitting a pole full pelt and the g3.0 was late coming out because of the problems but they av fixed them now clearly

the guys at the local hobby shop say hpi lies about thier statistics. i just bought a O.S. cv-r engine today. i did the first 3 tanks in the break in, ran out of daylight. im going to a parkin lot tomoro. i had the hpi 18ss engine in mine, never pulled a wheelie, but tomorow im going to see. im almost 100% sure that the os engine is much more powerfull. ill comment again tomorow.

I did had some problems. My pulling cord were once to far rolled out and didnt came back. 2 times actually, SO BE VERY CAREFULL WITH THE FIRST 4 TANKS YOUR RIDING ON. Dont go full throttel, else you got a very bad running car

oh, my rc10 gt2 is nitro, i broke it in on a whole quart of o'donnell 20% it runs perfect, i know to only pull the cord about 7 inches, but the new mt2 g3.0 i just got has a handheld rotostart, and is 4wd, i know there is no reverse, i am quite used to that, some of my electrics have forward only esc's,(for racing).
