I've got a tape of this Gavioli when it used to be owned the person who owned it before Neil Corner bought it, which I brought from the FOPS sale stand when was at GDSF 2009 on the saturday.
@musicmachinesuk so have I but the ignorant gaviolitom channel guy does not believe us sadly. There are three casettes to be honest. I have all three but one is a bit wavy and dodgy for audio. Must get a replacemnt or transfer to disk. xx
this organ looks so different with the extra carved work and the new trailer plus the nurses look so much nicer with their blue dresses and white aprons with a red cross on them
Without going into detail and this turning into an essay, the bell ringers weren't connected as they need a slight adjustment making to the motor that operates them. They weren't quite playing in time with the bass drum as they should.
Well, this is already one of my favorite sounding Gavioli's. What is the history of this organ? It appears to have lost the facade and case at some point because they appear to be new? (or at least unusual). I notice that the "La Danza" arrangement is nearly identical to the one for the 90-key Hooghuys at Utrecht. Coincidence? Very nicely in-tune, and very good arranging all around. Five stars!
Ex Tom Nicholsons Gavioli.
I have volume 2 casset but it wavers badly.

this organ should get out more. Shame it does not attend more rallies

Very nice, Stuart. Thanks.
How about putting this one on to Vimeo, and taking advantage of the better video quality there?
